helloo alll

has anybody used this brand??

i have red marks from spots (and they keep adding at the moment). i use Estee lauder doublewear foundation in bone (im have very pale yellow skin) and this covers well, but not all the red marks. so im looking for something to cover and look natural

http://www.backstageshop.co.uk/acatalog/Dermacolour.html

this is the blurb about dermacolor

"The Dermacolour camoflage system is designed to correct skin disfigurements, or discolorations, wether they are of accidental, dermatological, surgical, or congenital origin. Its can also be used to Camoflage Tattoos."

so has anybody used this range before??

is it easy to use??

im changed my skincare range to Dr H (and have a trial kit for oily/acne skin) and use the rejuvenating mask and this helps..

ps sorry for the long post

Hello!
Yes I have one of the pallettes containing lots of smaller versions of the concealors. I use a pale yellow and very fair skin tone on any blemishes I get. Its the only concealer I've found that stays on over the 'oily's and looks natural not cakey. It will also go over that very new smooth skin which most other makeup won't 'stick too'.
In my past life as a Beauty Therapist I have used it on lots of clients too - everything from wedding make up to scar/tattoo cover!
Highly recommend it. Get the pallette of sample sizes first to get a good colour match - they last for ages, the pigment is very concentrated and you only need a little - build up layers gradually to get the cover you need and then set with a transluscent powder (I like Jurlique Silk dust as this doesn't change the shade). Don't be afraid to mix the colours to get the shade you want!

Application is easiest if you warm it on the back of your hand a little then appley from there, more hygienic too! Very Happy

HTH!

hi Very Happy

thanks for the positive review on this! i did not know what to expect, i have ordered a tester kit in the traditional range and one in the light (i wasnt sure which one to go for, its hard to see the shades...

which shades do you use and is it from traditional or the light range?

did you find it hard to get the right shade to match your skin?

i should receive my stuff in the next couple of days so fingers cross (my skin is really bad at the moment, nasty spots and red marks Sad )

Hi!
I have the mini palette in #2 warm colours (only one I could get at the time apart from an 'olive' shade. No it was quite easy to colour match - the colours are quite forgiving - just pat a little onto your face of one or two that look like they might be a good match - keep patting and the one thats right will 'disappear'. They don't change colour on your skin.
I use D0 a pale yellow matte highlighter athough I find it cancels out red really well on my fair skin and D1W a very fair shade which matches my skintone really well.

Sorry to hear about your skin - I sympathise - I used to suffer from lots of breakouts (less frequent now and mainly if I use a 'wrong' product. Which reminds me - I've not found the concealer blocks pores or breaks me out which a lot of traditional concealers have done. It doesn't dry the skin out either.

HTH! Very Happy

Hello!
Yes I have ordered several times - think delivery was about a week, sometimes quicker? Haven't ordered for a while though so can't really remember (not needed to as the products last ages!!!). It's a nice company and they do give good colour info. They also will send special offers through to you. You can also get Dermacolor from Screenface which has quick delivery but you need to know what you're ordering so to speak as the colour descriptions/pics aren't very good. (They also stock T LeClerc and other nice brands but again you need to know what you're ordering as its original aim was to provide items for people in the trade.

Glad I can be of some help!

Very Happy

lucia

i have thought of another question...

do you use dermacolor just as a concealer or do you use all over (like a foundation)??

im using e lauder doublewear at the mo, and was thinking of using dermacolor as just a concealer, but reading the application tips on this product i dont know if this is possible

im soo Sad about my skin, i just see redness on my chin, and red marks round my mouth, it gets me down
