Having tried everything (except Shieshido which comes highly recommended) I have finally found a fab waterproof mascara that makes your lashes look HUGE, comes in a range of colours, doesn't make curled lashed droop and actually STAYS PUT all day without smudging. This is Lancome's Hypnose in waterproof - I use the navy which looks bright in the tube but actually dries dark (people think it's black, but looks less harsh). Really recommend it for any pandas like me out there.

Pips,
How is it removing? I have been using Rimmel Waterproof, which has been working great in the heat and humidity, but it is so hard to remove at night.

My mom bought the Lancome L'extreme mascara in waterproof by mistake and I tried it. I really like the brush and it works well. It is a little hard to get off though, I had mascara on me for about 2 days until I could really get it off.

The Bifacil Lancome remover should do it. I haven't tried it with those waterproof formulas but it usually takes everything off.

I love Lancome's Hypnose mascara, particularly the waterproof version, because it maintains the curl and does wonders for the volume (I don't generally have length issues). But I still manage to get raccoon eyes by afternoon, even when it isn't particularly hot out.

I used Lancome's BiFacil to get it off, but still had to tug on my lashes a bit.

I'm now using Blinc Kiss Me mascara & don't have the raccoon eyes anymore!! And when I'm doing something where I really want the extra volume, I'll use the Hypnose on the top lashes & the Kiss Me on the bottom...

I get it off with pure jojoba oil - it comes off pretty easily. Jojoba is also supposed to make your eyelashes look beuatiful! Very Happy

I may have to go to the mall this weekend and pick myself up a tube of the Hypnose..is this the best volumizing mascara Lancome has to offer?

I looked on Lancome's website and they have about a handful of different mascaras. I read somewhere might have been Cosmo(my bible) that to get the best results, put on a volumizing mascara on let it dry and then put on a lengthening mascara, I do this and it works wonders!

Not sure it is the best one that Lancome does - but best waterproof one anyone does in my opinion! I love it and my search for the perfect waterproof mascara has been a long one! However, think my eyelashes may be different to other peoples as mascaras that get rave reviews look awful on me, slide off my face or make lashes droop.

I'm sorry, but as a former make-up artist, I cannot help to condescend & shake my head-at what you're paying for MASCARA!

Mascara: must be disposed every couple of months, and water-proof is NOT good for lashes for regular, daily wear!

My Dad died suddenly seven weeks-ago. I grabbed a tube of Rimmel Volume Flash Waterproof mascara. It gave myself stunning lashes, which lasted through numerous emotional reactions.

It did it's job, and I went back to wearing my wash-off mascara (also Rimmel) for daily use.

I bought a couple Rimmel masacaras this weekend because it was time to throw mine out -- I agree about thrashing them; I never use a mascara more than a couple months and also have to balk at paying more than a ten spot for one.

Anyway, I bought the one with Lyrca in it, which sounded weird to me, but it said it was opthamalogist tested, so it must (i hope) be safe. It gave me nice, long separated lashes, but they still feel soft and not crunchy. I also bought the Extra Super Lash, but I haven't tried it yet.

I use the waterproof because of allergies. My eyes are always running. I've been using the Ardell lash growth at night, which has really helped to soften them.
