| I am starting week 6 of Obagi and have been using the Retin A .1% (strongest) every night along with every other Obagi product, except the clear. I added the Clear this morning. I have not had any redness, peeling, burning, etc. Other than some mild flakes, mostly around my chin, I don't seem to be having a reaction. I am using this for wrinkles mainly. I just wondered if anyone else out there has not had an "ugly" phase with obagi and does it still work if you don't? |

Yes, it still works even without the ugly phase. Count yourself lucky.  ...but it's still early, you could still go through it.
If you are using it primarily for wrinkles, why are you using Clear? Clear is for brown spots or uneven skin tone. All you really need for wrinkles is Retin-A, a great sunscreen, sunglasses and ,perhaps, Blender. |

| Thanks Donnababe. Well, I am using the clear because the nurse told me that she thought this is why I was not having any reaction and she felt I should use the whole program. Honestly, I am going to stay on this for 12 weeks and then I'm going back to just my Retin A and MD Forte 3, plus sunscreen of course! |

Instead of using 1/2 gram of Blender to 1/2 gram of Retin A, try going 1 FULL gram (1 full toothbrush head) to 1/2 gram of Blender. That is the most aggressive approach.
Also do you ever go to the Obagi Chat boards? Lots of users there and Obagi is all they discuss.
