Menstral Cups vs. Pads??

Hi again,

I have read a bit about the Mooncup (and others) and it seems many love EDS women prefer them over using traditional tampons. NOW, my question is how do these cups compare to using pads?

Better? Worse? No one has compared???....? Any imput would be great.

FYI: I was going to order the Mooncup (the DivaCup in the US is bigger than the MC) and I'd rather just get the one that many have had success with.

I stopped using pads years ago, hated them! so I'm probably not the best one to give a balanced view.

Pads now just seem messy now in comparison, no wonder they have started to bring out towels with those 'handy wipes'!!
And they smell in the hot weather, pads always irritated me too.....oh and the dog would have a field day if she found her way to bin..... Laughing
