Im looking for a nice nude/taupe eyeshadow nothing with too much yellow or pink in it and nothing too shimmery. I cant find one that suits me i am very pale with very dark hair and green eyes. |

MAC Patina is nice. It does have a little shimmer, but its not obnoxious shimmer. I practically wear it everyday. |

"Bone" from Bobbi Brown is great. |

I would suggest Chanel. They have eyeshadows that don't have a shimmer.

Hi lorrapaw - Have you ever tried Stila eyeshadows? There are tons of shades, and the powders are very finely milled. I use "Cloud" (a light grey/taupe) and may try "Dune" (on the Sephora website, it's still pale but browner than Cloud). There are lighter shades for the browbone, if that's what you're looking for instead of something for the lid. Also for the lid, I like Laura Mercier "Whiskey". It's light brown. Neither of these have any shimmer whatsoever. BTW, I'm quite pale as well with dark hair (dark brown eyes though). |
