Does anyone here have experience with some of the Obaji lines that are for Japan-only?
I had looked at their Vit. C a while back (different to that sold overseas as no SLS) and became intrigued at some of the other lines that I see are not sold here at EDS (and we here in Japan dont have the lines EDS sells)
We do have the NuDerm line here, but only through professional salons.
Our lines are:
Derma Force X (new product, lifting cream)
Platinum Series (improving skin trasnparency/clarity and skin density)
C line (10/15/20% serum + pre-lotion)
Triple Peel 10 (daily peel for removal of dead skin and blackheads)
Skin Clycler (system)
K+ (anti-ageing, elasticity improvement)
Perfect Lift AA (retin A for eyes and lips)
I have been eyeing these products off for some time, but really dont want to lay down my hard-earned cash without getting some feedback from somewhere...
Thanks! |

Let me just add a bit more... according to the Obaji Japan website, you can use ALL the products (except the Skin Cycler system of course) together.
The steps would be:
1. cleanse (Obaji Japan dont have a cleanser)
2. Triple Peel (I guess this is like a toner)
3. Platinum Lotion (there is also a mask that I guess you can use weekly)
4. C pre-lotion (if desired)
5. Vit. C serum
6. K plus lotion
7. Perfect Lift AA (corner of mouth and eyes)
8. Milk lotion (nothing in Obaji line, but to fit here, but this is the next item they say, so I guess they mean a moisturizer )
9. Derma Force X cream
10. (AM) UV Care (again non-Obaji)
Now that is a LOT of product to put on one face.
And, according to what I see on their site, you do this TWICE a day with all items. Good grief, I would need an extra hour a day in the bathroom for this regime.... |

OK, I must have been pretty tired last night spelling out Obagi in Japanese phonetics.
The web address is: http://www.obagi.co.jp/
I always knew that the formulas in Japan are different for vitamin C serums (they had to alter to fit in with Japanese Pharmaceutical laws which state that SLS can only be put into products that are fully rinsed off the body), but had no idea there is a whole range of Japan-only (it seems) products! |

id been reading about these in biteki and maquia and remember being really confused because some of the products were different... but i've always been weary of obagi because the 'maintenance' afterwards basically locks you to them for life... not sure if its the same with the japan line though... i dont remember the articles about obagi in japan saying much about maintaining after but its still relatively new...? |

Hi,
I checked the website and obviously everything is written in Japanese. I'm just wondering if I can purchase these products on-line, I really want to buy their new products. I've been using Obagi and I have noticed the difference, I love it! Please help me find these new products that they have on-line, Thanks! |

Poked around their site a bit - they don't ship outside of Japan at the moment. Sorry to get your hopes up. Maybe try e-bay or online import shops? |

Thanks for your information! I know many Japanese products do not ship outside of Japan, so online import shops are great choices. I have many good experience with them. |

I am running low on my current daily facial cleanser and have been giving some thought to trying out the Obagi line.
I currently live in Canada but will be leaving in a week for Tokyo, where I will be for about 3 months. I was wondering if I should wait till I get to Tokyo to try out the Obagi line or if I should try to get the North American version to take to Japan????? |

Hello,
I just saw on this discussion about Obagi Japan , I have been using it since first available in Japan, and yes it's the best and better than US version.
I buy for all my friends in the US or Europe.
If anyone need to buy any Obagi products from Japan, email me, I can help you out if you pay for the shipping.
You now can find it in Hongkong but does not say Obagi, it has a different name but boxes and colors are similar to the one in Japan. |

How interesting! What is the obagi range called in Hong Kong? Where is it available? In a lot of Asia countries, Europe & Australia the hydroquinone is no longer sold or prohibited due to cancer fear, so I wonder if the products sold in Japan & Hong Kong actually contain the 4% hydroquinone, which is one of the most important part of the Obagi range |
