Hi, I have been reading post here and have posted myself. I use only organic skin care and find that most people I talk to do not understand why I do that. I was wondering does anyone here use organic skin care and if so what brand and how do you feel about it amd do you think it works as well or better then conventional skin care? |

i think their website iswww.eminenceorganics.com
if you google, you will find some websites that sell their products online, or you can call them and ask if there is any spa in your area that carry their products. |

Hi Organic,
They do have ingredients listed, just for "INSIDE" instead of "INGREDIENTS" under each products. HTH
I am using the brightening complex, and the lemonGrass cleanser.

I love Alkaitis but it's out of my budget at the moment.
http://www.alkaitis.com
That Eminance stuff only lists the active ingredients on it's site, not the inactive ingredients. |

byrg.... i know thats very unfortunate about eminence ingredients....
anyways... what have you used from alkaitis.... i would like to try their products, I want to get samples first. The online shopping sells travel kits, but it doesnt say whats in it.
i LOVE masks...... and as soon as my eminence masks run out, I want to try alkaitis. Have you tried any of alkaitis masks? |

I can't say that I was impressed with their masks, but I've never been impressed with any mask I've ever tried, so I'm the wrong person to ask. I'm not a mask lover.
I do however know of a place to buy sample trial sizes of their products for a good price. That's all that I have tried of theirs, the sample sizes. I might get those again. I tried their body oil, the cleanser, the day cream, night cream and eye cream. I loved all of them. I mean the cleanser was ok. The night cream was a bit heavy for my combination skin, but I loved the day cream and the eye cream. Actually the night cream is perfect for anyone who has slightly dry skin. It really made me look kind of shiny and drenched in moisture cause it's so rich. But that's ok cause I was just going to bed anyways. Rich and luxurious is what comes to mind when I remember trying those products. I loved the body oil.
Anyways, here is a link where you can buy samples.

You might have to do a search for them, they're a couple dollars each. |

That sucks. You're right. I just went to order some more. Hopefully they get some back in stock soon, I'll email them.
I don't remember it breaking me out no. My memory is not perfect but I know I would of stopped using it if it did. I do remember being concerned that it would though eventually. I didn't use it long enough to know the long term effects, just the samples. |

I just started using Miessence...they are Certified Organic to International Food Standards...so in other words you could eat it if you wanted to... I havent found anything yet that is as pure as they are. You can request free samples at www.TheOrganicEdge.com
I also looked at the Suki line..it looked nice but it wasn't certified organic. I used Weleda before but when I checked into the ingredients they had some synthetic chemicals floating around in them. I have tried Aubrey but not Dr.H I still havent found an organic shampoo or conditioner that Im crazy about any suggestions? |

I do always favour organic/natural skincare first as whatever you use on your skin is always going to be absorbed and the thought of all those chemicals sinking into my skin
I have yet to find anything better than Dr Hauschka and the homemade recipes.
When it comes to lipsticks I try to always go for natural brands especially as when you think of all the times we lick our lips.....how much lipstick we must eat!!! |

I really LOVE Alkaitis!
I have tried many of the organic lines, and I think this one seems to be of the highest quality.
Did you know that they even clean the machines/appliances or whatever they use to make their products with organic natural products!
At the moment I am trying out MyChelle. I am quite impressed with their products so far, but it is very early days yet. They have a physical sun block that I particually like. They also do sample sizes, and it is quite inexpensive.
I really want to try this line... http://www.ilcsi.com/ |

I checked out the Mychelle website....it looks nice but I did see some synthetic ingredients and I don't think they were certified organic. Let me know how it works out for you. I might order some of the Alkaitis shampoo to see what I think of it...I still haven't found anything that I like better then Miessence but I have to admit I really do not like any organic shampoo or conditioner but I use it becuase the alternative is not worth it. |

I've just ordered a travel pack from the 'Organic Pharmacy' it includes Jasmine High Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner. I have high hopes for it as I've not found a really effective haircare range that doesn't have something iffy in it. I hated Aubrey Organics Cammelia line - made my hair oily and lank - like I'd not washed it for a month! I ended up using it on the horse!! (Made her really shiny and untangled her tail beautifuly!)
Will post results when I have tried them. LOVE new goodies!

Wow. Let us know how it is. I've been wanting to try the organic pharmacy but it's so expensive. Even the travel kit after international shipping charges is over $100.
Another interesting organic line is http://zenbiotic.com
The thing about the organic stuff is though I think it's better to get smaller sizes of the products and mostly travel sizes. Becuase they don't last as long due to such natural ingredients and no synthetic perservatives etc.
I've tried the Alkaitis shampoo. It was ok. It worked ok. I liked it better then the Miessence shampoo. But it wasn't amazing or anything. I think I like Giovanni's line of organic shampoo/conditioners the best so far. Even though they are not as pure as some of those other ones. I also like Aubrey's but Aubrey's is much gentler for everyday use. I like using that everyday and then some of the Giovanni like once a week or so for a stronger more clearifying shampoo and cleansing. Right now I'm using Aubrey's Henna Shampoo and I like it. It's for oily hair so it cleanses a bit better. I'm open to trying these more pure organic shampoos but they are so expensive.
There is also this line of organic pure shampoos that is very gentle and also expensive. http://www.morroccomethod.com
The one thing I did really like from the Miessence line is their face cleansers. Those are wonderful. I wasn't too impressed with the moisterizers though. A bit too light to me, but still nice and good for sensitive skin. The eye gel is nice too. I've been wanting to try their makeup though. Has anyone tried their makeup line? It's all mineral based. Like their mascara, concealer, blush, lip colors etc. ? Thanks. |
