I recently came across an old reference to the DermaRoller ... and there was even a thread on here a couple of years ago about it. I guess at one point, Robin McGraw [Dr. Phil's wife] recommended it.
What I want to know if there is anyone who used it ... and still uses it or doesn't ... and would they share their experiences with it?
The item costs $85 U.S. ... which I don't want to spend unless there is a reasonable chance that it actually works.
Thanks

Mary:
I bought one about 3 weeks ago. (Capsers-Mum, I bought it already when I asked you about it.) I saw a before and after picture then decided to buy it. But after I bought it I realized the woman in the before and after picture had a "medical treatment" done not the home use one. Medical dermaroller has longer needles. They have few different models.
I have 1 day off after every 6 days use. My skin is tough, non-sensitive at all. Those needles are very tiny, thin and short. It stings a little when you roll it on your face. Clean my face, Re'Vive Serum and then dermaroller. And then hydrating Gel, this stings much more after I put it on. And then my moisturizer. I don't know if I used it too often (suggested 1, 2/week and work up to daily use) After 2 weeks use I did not see any improvement but red, sensitive cheeks and dry forhead.. I have broken capillaries before but I saw more after 2 weeks dermaroller "treatment". I'm having a break for my face now. Almost one week I only put on Emu Oil and Creme De La Mer and my face looked fabulous. I believe my face really enjoy this break. |

Several years ago I ordered one from a place in Florida (I think). Never did receive it or get my money back. Be careful who you order from. |

I think Leaf and Rusher is the only authorized distributor in the US for the REAL DERMAROLLER. And Leaf and Rusher authorized Bath and Body Works to sell it. |

yes, I've used it, I ended up over-zealously rolling my skin with it and ended up with tiny holes and red spots, as well as some broken capillaries, don't know how well it actually works though, in theory sounds great, in reality don't know how proven it really is to work. |
