Seems a lot of you love the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer, and I almost bought one this morning at Walgreens. Then I figured I'd wait to ask you all which are the colors you like best? They all look pretty, but I'd be interested to see which is most popular amongst the EDS crowd...
Thanks!

I love them all, but it seems I reach for the NUTMEG more often than the others. Champagne is nice over some of the darker colors (merlot, for itstance) when you want to tone it down.
I saw on their website that they have new colors coming out, but I have not found them in stores near me yet. Can't wait to try the TOFFEE and the GUAVA.
Good luck deciding on only one.

Thanks, Lori! And you're right...I'd need a lot of luck to be able to choose one. Not likely to happen!

Nutmeg gets my vote as well. It's the most natural I think. I do like Watermelon too but it's definitely all pink so it doesn't look as natural to me. The only other one I have is Rhubarb which is really dark and a deep pink. It's okay but my least fave of the 3. |

Well, I bought the Nutmeg this morning on the way to work, and you're right...it really is a lovely, natural looking color! Tam, it's funny that you say the Rhubarb is your least favorite color, because they had a ton of that on the shelf...but the Nutmeg was almost gone!
Thanks again for the feedback...these Lip Shimmers are great, and I'm sure I will purchase more!

rhuberb is my favorite. It looks like the color of my lips in the morning when I wake up when they are swollen and their natural color is darker. |

Something tells me I'm going to end up with one of every color...

It is really frustrating as I cannot find any pictures of the actual shades on the internet, only the standard swatches. |

The swatches are so off too. I would go by the description on the Burt's Bee website as they seem accurate.
Hope that helps.

i'm a merlot girl myself! BTW the Whole Foods in L.A. where i get this usuallyy has a hard time keeping the watermelon (i think that's the colour) in stock. guess they like pinky there. i tried the raisin and did not like it as there was too much shimmer and it emphasized any flakeys.
is it moisturizing? somewhat. much more so than a lot, but it won't heal lips on its own. it does feel particularly lovely on parched lips in the summer -- cool and minty. it makes my lips go 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!' |

I have the Rhubarb and love this colour, I can just about carry it off. I think Nutmeg suits just about anyone, I really want this one now too!!
The swatches are nothing like.......however the descriptions are acurate.
This is the most moisturising lipstick I have tried and the lasting power is impressive. I love the peppermint tingling effect too. |

I was surprised at how pigmented these are. I was expecting a sheer, lip balm type of product with just a hint of color. I was surprised! I have the Coffee one, which is a touch too dark for me to pull off during the daytime. I must look at Nutmeg the next time I grocery shop.

TinaMarie:
If you can't find the Nutmeg, then try the Champagne. You can use it on top of the Coffee to soften the color and add some shimmer. It also looks lovely alone!
