Hello,
I have never used avon skincare but the book I recently bought (Skin Type Solutions) has recommended numerous products. I am wondering if any of you have tried any skincare from avon that you love. I have combo/dry winter, milia prone, skin. I'm looking at their "anew" line. |

I've never had any luck with with their products. I tried Anew last year and used up the whole jar with no results. It's not that their terrible or anything, they just did absolutely nothing for me. OK if you just need a moisturizer! The other products I tried were the same thing - nothing! |

the hand creams are alright. The only facial product from them I use is the anew microdermabrasion cream...and I doubt I'll repurchase b/c the loreal one is better. |

I don't think I have ever found any Avon Skincare I have even liked, et alone loved.
I can think of so many cheaper drugstore brands that perform better.
The hair products also disapointed.
The one Avon product I like are the Glimmersticks. |

I didn't like any of the Avon skin care products that I've tried. I didn't even like their lip balms (so dehydrating). |

Used to use Avon face cream when my aunt was selling them. Made my skin breaks out and did not see any improvement. Definitely do not recommend it. |

I do like the Straight and Sleek Shine spray for hair, someone gave this to me and I left it sitting on my dresser for months before I picked it up. I spritz it onto my hair after I have finnished blow drying, it kills off any of that unsightly flyaway friz.
Smells wonderful, kind of a coconut scent. For the price I like it. |

I have a good friend who sells it so I'm always trying stuff out. I like the Glimmersticks too and also the Color Trend pencils, they are cheap and go on smooth with plenty of pigment. I also like their new moisturizing lipstick, I bought two for $3 each! I found one that doesn't go on pink, I think it's called Heaven. I use their Taklon foudation brush, it's soft and firm, a lot like MAC but I needed synthetic one for water based foundations. Perfect Wear Comfort lipstick is also fabulous, it really is a comfortable long wearing lipstick but the shades are not flattering on me, they all seem to turn pink. Also, the brochures don't really show the true shades.
I don't like their foundations (too irritating and smelly), some did perform and look better than I thought they would but I can't handle silica is the amounts they use or fragrance. I can't use their skincare, too many fragrances in moisturizers and treatments and harsh cleaning agents and pore clogging ingredients in cleansers. The microfoliant is very harsh.
That said though, I'm currently trying out the new Anew Clinical Eye Lift. Their return policy is good and I liked the sample, it is fragrance free, the gel isn't sticky and the cream isn't greasy. It's a two part system for lids and under eye. It's only been a few days so I can't report much else, other than to say it absolutely doesn't irritate my eyes which is rare. I have puffy eyes and dark circles, I'm skeptical but I had to try it and will report back after a month or two. |

I can't edit my post so I'll just reply, it's not the Color Trend pencils I like so much, it's the Ultra Luxury Liners I'm liking. I've never even tried the Color Trend.
Avon has way too many lines, it's confusing! |
