This is my first attempt at DIY Vit C. The consistency is like a jelly-thick jelly. My Vit C serum from PSF is more liquid.
I used:
5 ml HA(from personal formulator)
1/4 tsp Vit C powder(from Whole Foods)
5 ml PG (from personal formulator)
I added 2 mls of distilled water, but it didn't do much. I guess my recipe is the recipe for a Vit C jelly blob....HELP!!
TIA Chrissie |

im no expert...but from your recipe i think you added too much HA solution
it was recommended to use HA at 0.2% or so.. and 5ml of HA seems WAY too much... |

i think u should try reducing the HA solution by at least half with distilled water first then add to the PG...
if im not wrong, i believe PF's HA solution is at 1% concentration and if u use 3ml water + 2ml HA it'll decrease the concentration to 0.4% then adding it to the rest of the ingredients (5ml PG) it'll make 0.2% concentration of HA solution... |
