Ok, so yesterday I got this PAINFUL red bump just below my bottom lip. I mean it is so painful to touch, move my mouth...etc. What kind of acne is this and how do I get rid of it? I am trying so desparately NOT to 'pop' it |

It sounds like Cystic acne to me, don't sqeeze it, it probably hurts so much that there is no way you could anyway!!!
I suggest dabbing on some Tea Tree Essential Oil morning and night.
Yonka Juvenil is suposed to be good for this kind of acne. |

Could it be a cold sore? Sometimes I get them just outside of the lip line. |

definately NOT a cold sore. Have never had hem before and it is not on the lip line but below it. I have had this before just enver knew what to call them and how to treat them properly without trying to pop them.
thanks for the advice to all who has replied |

Sounds like cystic acne. I'd be spot treating with a salicylic acid product. Not sure if you have any on hand - something along the lines of Dermalogica Medicated Clearing Gel or MDF Clearing Complex. If you don't have those or anything similar, try spot treating with an aspirin mask perhaps? |
