Hi,

I am currently using Divine Essence's Witch Hazel extract. They make a line of floral water, which they claim to have the better aroma over other brands. and that the flowers/extracts they use are of the premiums.
I've used their Rose water and the Witch Hazel... but honestly I do not smell any difference for the witch hazel ( i guess witch hazel doesn't have much smell to start with ) so i want to find another witch hazel instead of this expensive $15/100ml floral hydrosol...
i want to find a witch hazel that is alcohol free and natural... please throw suggestions at me!! thanks

p.s. the rose water by divine essence smells heavenly though!!!

Hi aprilha,

I'm in Canada ... but at my local Shoppers Drug Mart I found "Witch Hazel Distilate" ... which you can then dilute with whatever "water" you like ... you could use Rose Water ... or Lavender Water ... or just plain distilled water.

You're right ... Witch Hazel doesn't have much of a smell in its own right ... so you can either add your own ... or leave it "plain".

You might want to check out your local drug store.

Mary
