This is probably a weird question, but I was wondering if using a very light lip stain before applying a topical plumper would cause the plumper not to work? Reason I'm asking is that I have plumping glosses that I like (City Lips, etc.)...but they don't last long on me, so having a little extra color would be nice. The stain I use (V. Longo) is very light, so it feels like I've got nothing on...but just wondered if having anything at all on the lips would stop a topical from working?
Sorry for the convoluted message... If anyone has used both together, please let me know how it turned out!
Thanks!

I use lip stains with my topical lip plumpers, but I apply the plumper first and wait about 10-15 minutes to begin working, then I wipe it off and apply my lip stain then top it off with another coat of plain or plumping lip gloss. |

Thanks carekate! Good to know I can use both...I'll give your method of application a try this morning!
