Is there such thing as a mask with all three ingredients? Maybe someone knows. Anyone here use a mask with a combination of 2 of the three ingredients (Pumpkin-Papaya; Pumpkin-Pineapple; Pineapple-Papaya)? Please give us a review. Thx!
P.S. I know Papaya has papain and Pineapple has bromelain enzymes, but what kind of enzyme that Pumpkin has? |

Don't know about the pumpkin - I thought it was added to masks because of the vit A content....
I have not tried any masks that have all three ingredients in them, but have seen masks that have two of those. e.g. Jaqua Pumpkin Papaya Puree Face Mask, Jason Natural Cosmetics Papaya-Pineapple Enzyme Facial Peel & Mask. |

Pumpkin does contain beneficial enzymes (protease) that act like AHA acids to break down the keratinized sebum & dead surface skin cells. It is just as effective as a glycolic peel, but is better for more sensitive skin types, and for oily/acne prone skin. Glycolic peels are not recommended for oily/acneic skin types, as it can enlarge the pores & cause new breakouts. This is not the case with an enzyme peel.
Come July 1 we will offer 2 options in the Pumpkin peel - one with the glycolic acid & one without.

I would definitely go with the first one (Patricia's). The other one has the pumpkin & pineapple listed as the 7th & 8th ingredient! Also the second one is loaded with alcohol, which really isn't bad for a peel, as it opens up the pores & helps with penetration. But it could be too irritating for dry or sensitive skin types. Also the first peel has some nice ingredients in it - MSM, DMAE, Idebenone. It's like an anti-aging cocktail! Yumm!  |

Body shop stuff is pants! It may have ethically traded natural ingredients, but it still contains all the crap bog standard lines carry.

Thanks! I was actually leaning towards the Patricia's mask because of those added nice ingredients and it's organic. I'm off to buying Patricia's mask.
Incidentally, I also found a 3rd contender and it has over 100 essential nutrients working in synergy with pumpkin, pineapple and papaya enzymes. They don't however disclose those other ingredients.

I would think, just take an enzyme supplement pill and dissolve it's contents in water like with the aspirin masks. You can also just blend all 3 ingredients together. Actually buy a green papaya, a pineapple and some pumpkin puree and blend them and put it on your face.
