I am looking at several gel-type Vit. C treatments for eyes:
IS Clinical
Cellex-C
PSF Stimucol (not sure the texture of this one though)
Then as a firming gel, looking at Cellcosmet Ultra (for night use).
I am wanting to have:
morning:
1. Jurvedical serum
2. hyrading cream (thinking IS Clinical)
3. targeted wrinkle (spot) treatment (thinking to try PSF browtox)
evening:
1. Vitamin C serum (torn between IS Clinical/Cellex-C/Stimucol)
2. firming gel - Cellcosmet Ultra gel
(preferabley I want something that does not require a cream on top)
I was thinking of doing with Murad Vit.C with SPF for day, but I hardly see the sun anyway and have sunglasses.
Any feedback on my thoughts? Successes with the products, etc.?
Thanks as usual! |

I use PSF. I got the pump bottle, so a little goes a long way. Its creamy, kind of thick...but it absorbs quickly. (Its not greasy after applied) |

I wouldn't go with the Murad Essential-C if you are after just a vit C treatment, it's a great SPF cream though if you're after one. The PSF Stimucol is getting great reviews here. I have not tried it but, from the description, I gather it's more like an eye cream. So, when you say "gel" are you actually after an eye gel with vit C in it or after a vit C serum (i.e. more liquid than gel) for the eye area? Sorry, I'm a little confused.... |

well, it was pretty early in the morning when I wrote that, so my head was not working very well I think.
I guess I am really after a serum type Vit. C treatment, though a light gel or very light milky texture would probably be OK too. Perhaps with a good Vit. C serum/gel/milk I wont even need the Cellcosmet ultra gel, I dont know....
Re PSF Stimucol, I mailed them to ask when the 5ml trial bottles would be back in stock and they said next week probably!! I am going to get that to start and then with my next EDS order I think I will try and get a sample of the IS Clinical gel & cream, Cellex-C gel and Cellcosmet ultra gel (if they have any of them)
Re the Murad, I was at one point considering that to go on top of the Jurvedical serum instead of IS Clinical because I was going through an "I should use SPF on the eye area" phase... maybe I should try for a sample of that too.
I am just so darned fussy when it comes to eye creams and have yet to find anything that I would repurchase/purchase full size of (though I did like the PSF cranberry gel for texture) |

Thank you - I'm waiting for this also
Btw, if your skin is not sensitive to vit C (and you're sure of that) then you can just use a normal C serums around the eye area. Many EDS members do. I used to use one specifically for the eye area because I was worried about irritation but have now "graduated" to using a normal one as well. |

I used my Cellex-C under my eye the whole time I had it. At first I got a bit dry, but my skin got used to it.
I wonder how it would go under the brow bone. I am not sure it coudl be used on the lids though... ever tried that? |

No, not directly - only residual. I apply to my face and under and side of the eye area. Then I gently pat brow bone and eyelid area and hope that some might still transfer from my fingers but without actually putting any significant amount on. If that makes sense.... |
