Hello All
I just had my hair cut to very choppy layers through out. (sort of like when Meg Ryan wore the choppy look), but mine is on my shoulders. I really want to create the messy look so that is shows off my chunky layers. The problem I am having is my mousse/gel makes my hair ratty looking and does not create the "look". I want to find a product that is light enough not to weigh my hair down, but will give me enough lift and volume to get what I am trying to accomplish. Any recommendations? |

I don't use mousse/gel, but my friend likes Redken product. |

I can suggest OSIS Mess Up (Schwarzkopf), it's not a gel though - more like a paste/gum. It will give you the separation for the messed up look. I have fine hair and used this when I had a shorter cut with layers. It didn't weigh down my hair but the one thing that I am not thrilled about is that it does not add shine. In fact it's quite matte. On the plus side - it's cheap |
