I just finished reading "The Undomestic Goddess" by Sophie Kinsella (author of the popular Shopaholic series). This book actually got me laughing out loud. I loved it so much that I finished it in two days. The reason that it took me two days was that I had to work and that I had to stay late at work. |

It's rare when a book can do that! Thanks for sharing, I could use a good laugh! |

I loved this book too! I've read all but one of the Shopaholic books (Shopaholic and Sister) and I spotted The Undomestic Goddess in a book exchange on my recent holiday. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who wants a laugh! |

Rachael, I read all the Shopaholic books and I didn't like the Shopaholic & Sister book that much. I thought the "Confessions of the Shopaholic" book was the best out of the entire series. |

The original "shopaholic" was the best. Although the others are worth reading.
I also like Marian Keyes (Irish) humour and Jane Green's books.
Any other funny authors worth checking out? |

I also recommend "The Feng Shui Junkie" by Brian Gallagher. Don't be deceived by the title. It's not all about Feng Shui. One of the characters in the book was into Feng Shui. It's a definite must read. |

I've had "Confessions" sitting on my shelf for over a year along with a couple of other books and I never can find the time to read them. I have stacks of subscription magazines piling up as well. I'm gonna have to cancel my mags and get to reading my books. Thanks for the reminder. |
