I have combo skin-alittle more oiler- and I cannot find a vit c that doesn't make me oily. I just received PSF 12% and my skin looks oily. I have also tried obagi and skinceuticals c & e. They both make me oily. Please help! Thanks. Jane |

I find the Skinceuticals 20% to be great for oily skin as well as the super serum by Is Clinical. The PSF has an oilier base & the e in the c&e in skinceuticals makes it feel slicker. |

Hi, I have combo/acne prone skin, and my nose area is oily during summertime.
I like Vivier very much, now I'm using Vivier Kine-C, the texture is not oily , not too watery. First you put it on your face there is a little bit sticky, but it is obsorbed very quick. A very nice product. |

OK, I think you will probably not like Vivier, JB C&C, or CSRx. Seems like you tried the wrong Skinceuticals serum given your preference for non oily - almost every Skinceuticals serum is watery and non oily apart from the C+E, which is more substantial. I would recommend a standard Skinceuticals serum, or just a standard Cellex-C serum (i.e. no other aditions in the serum that would make it more substantial - just a plain 10% serum for example). |

I would double the rec. for the Cellex-C .. I loved my 17.5% as it has not a trace of oiliness about it.
I have now tried Vivier, Jansen Beckett C&C and Obagi but dont like any of them because of the texture.
Skinceuticals regular C serum is supposed to be just like the Cellex-C so I am going to try that at some point in the future now my samples are out. |

Hi Mabsy,
Do you mean that the texture of standard Skinceuticals serum is more watery than Vivier?
Another concern is, if I'm going to a hot& humid country in summer, which brand Vit C you recommand most. thanks. |

Hi lithia - yes, that's right. The regular Skinceuticals C serum is very watery, way more watery than the Vivier serums. And yes, the regular Cellex-C is the same in texture as the Skinceuticals - basically like water. Also, I found the IS CLinical Super Serum to be quite watery (but not their other C serums).
In terms of a hot and humid country, well I still think this will largely depend on your skin type. I live in a hot and humid place but I prefer serums with a texture like that of Vivier for my normal skin. |

doubling what mabsy says with Yup, they are like a heavy water. I would recommend give the hyrdra b5 gel a go over the top as it is also totally non-oily and vanishes in a flash. Just gives you a nice deep care (it is hyaluronic acid) but without surface moisture |

1) go to the counter directly, or a spa.
2)everytime I get my samples just go with my orders from EDS or eskincarestore.com, thay are all very nice. |

Try Cellex-C. You only need two to three drops for your face every 24 hours. |
