Hello
I was looking to get a heated eyelash curler for my very straight and stubborn eyelashes. HAs anyone tried them? Do they work? Please let me know which brands are good and which to avoid. Thanks |

I have a ModelCo one and like it. Admitedly, I have not tried others. My main gripe with it is how quickly it goes through batteries. We had a long discussion about heated curlers here though and I think lots of people tried various ones - if you do a search (top right hand corner of this page) you should be able to find those posts. I bought one and used it once. It was horrible and hard to use. What you can do instead is blow dry your regular eyelash curler for a few seconds, this works great! |

Hi dori,
The best eyelash curler I've ever tried is the Shu Uemura keeps lashes curled for hours. It's not heated cause you don't need it. The down side is it only comes with one rubber refill. After you use it, you must buy a new curler. |

as for non-heated eyelash curler... i like shiseido's..
i also tried shu uemura's...but still like shiseido's better
i think its better suited to asian eyes or something... |

Mabsy, I believe the one I used was by Ardell. The problem was the shape. It was very awkward to hold and get close to the lash line. |

i also like the shesheido eye lash curler. i've tried shu eumera and in a pinch, i've tried to grab one at cvs, but they are all pretty bad and the shesheido wins everytime! |

Thanks Lanie - didn't know they made one but I'll know to stay away if I'm ever tempted
donnababe - I thought you can actually buy refills for the Shu curler? Or maybe it was just that the Shiseido refills fit the Shu... Hang on let me go check.... Yup - I have both and have just swapped the rubber bits in them with no problems so the Shiseido refills definitely fit. They'd have to for me to get one because they sell the Shu curlers for over $60 in Australia - no way am I buying another once my one refill dies! |
