The difference I've seen with Dermalogica's Daily Microfolia

Hi All,

I have all of you forum members to thank for persuading me to invest my money in Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant. I believe I first splurged on this product back in August or September. I reviewed it once after the first week of usage -- I definitely enjoyed the powder formula (a little DOES go a long way like you said Mabsy!), and I also enjoyed the VERY smooth effect it had on my skin.

After nearly 5 months of use I can honestly say that my skin is BRIGHTER. My acne comes and goes, and I thank Proactiv and Dermalogica for keeping it under control. BUT my skin . . . I have never known it to be this bright (except maybe when I was 2). It could be a possible effect of being in winter weather most of the time but my arms and legs aren't any "brighter" (and they're always covered in the cold weather), so I'm pretty sure that the brightness in my face is due to the Microfoliant.

I even bought PTR's brightening complex and have yet to use it because I don't want to turn into Casper the Friendly Ghost. Honestly, the Microfoliant is used for brightening the skin tone, and if you are patient, you will see the difference. I didn't notice the brightening effect the first few weeks of usage . . . maybe not even the first month . . . but I was applying lotion the other night and realized how different my skin looks . . . it was incredible. This, of course, is all aside from the smooth texture that the Microfoliant produces . . .

$60 for the container is an extraordinary deal for the effects it produces. I thought it was expensive, but I'm still on the same container and it's been nearly 5 months! There's a LOT of powder in there, and well, it's magical powder in my eyes Smile

I know so many of us on this forum already use this product, but for those that just started using it or are thinking about using it---I just wanted to share the 5 month effect that I've just noticed. Sometimes it takes long-term use to discover the real benefits of a product (actually, this is OFTEN the case), and the Microfoliant definitely has real benefits.

Hey Lisa,

So glad to hear you're still liking the Microfoliant. I'm stil using it as well; probably about 4 times a week at this stage. I have to say that I bought this in August last year and used it everyday for a few months until I started alternating with the PTR Buffing Beads. I still have well over half of this left and, like you, I still think that it's a fabulous product.

Thanks to reviews like this one, I've got my family using this product. After just a few days, husband has a smooth, glowing complexion. I'M SO JEALOUS! Mad

and son's acne is noticeably improved. Very Happy
