I got a sample of this recently and tried it one night.
Very nice texture - rich, yet supposedly oil-free, which may account for its non-oily feel. It sinks into the skin and I can see why this is recommended for dehydrated oily skin - it moisturisers very well without being heavy and I woke up with soft, dewy skin. This is one of those moisturisers that do not rub off easily on pillows too.
The only thing I don't like is the smell. It reminds me of bathroom air-freshner! Cellex-C needs to take a lesson from Decleor! |

I got a sample of it too and agree the smell is BAD! I didn't find it the best makeup base either... |

Hi Lianne!
I'm curious - why does it not make a good makeup base? |

Hmm must be a Cellex 'thing' I ordered the Seline E Moisturiser - lovely cream - great results - but smells, well weird/. It reminded me of Fabris Softener but air freshener could be used too! Tok some getting used too! Fortunatley the scent seems to wear off quite quickly! Prefer my Dr H Rose or Ambrosia which I've recently tried - great results and lovely scent! |

I tried this a while ago when I was looking for a moisturiser with DMAE and found it to be too rich for my skin, didn't seem to absorb and left me looking oily. Perhaps is would suit me more over the winter months.
Shame because I really wanted to like this. |

It didn't absorb very well. and I noticed it sorta peeled when I rubed my face to put the makeup on! |

Hmm ... somehow, gel or oil free stuff just sort of "ball up" under everything else.
I think smell is so important in a skincare product, and I think no smell is better than a bad smell! Fabric softener or air freshener is not something I want to smell throughout the day! |

that's exactly how I should've explained it...ball up.
Some products I don't notice it as badly. I'm tempted to try smashbox primer to see if that helps. |

I noticed the "smell" too. Other than that, it was pretty good. |

I have used this cream this winter for the first time. I have no problems with it and it does not clog my pores. What is a bonus is that there is Omega 3 oil which balance out the extra oil your skin releases from having oily skin. |

This product gave me little red zits/rashes all over my face. It was horrible! There are better moisturizers out there in my opinion. |
