Sorry if this has been discussed already, I did a search but didn't find the info. I was looking for.
I've been using OCM on and off for awhile, and I want to start using it more consistently. Today I picked up some Ylang Ylang and Lemon essential oils to put into my first batch of ACV toner.
I was planning on putting some in with my OCM mixture as well. My question is, is it a good idea to have the EOs in there? And if so, about how much should I put in? I was thinking about the same ratio as for the ACV: 12 drops of each EO per 8oz. of mixture.
What do you guys think?
My oily skin is starting to come back after being off of Accutane for a few months and I'd like to try and control it naturally, which is why I'm finally trying the ACV toner and incorporating the EOs.
Thanks!

Heya
I've used lemon EO in some homemade batches before, and found it stung quite badly when applied to the face wholly. Perhaps try only a few drops into the oil cleanser then shake well to mix it together.
But also if you are getting EO in your toner then I'd say it would be ok to leave it out of the cleanser. Or you can substitute with other EOs like tea tree etc. |
