I am looking for a daily moisturizer that has significant antioxidant ingredients and an SPF of 15 or higher. I'm currently using Nivea Soft (because it smells good and is basically the only moisturizer I've ever tried that hasn't made me break out or worse). But I'm 30, sun-damaged and starting to think I need something with more oomph. I'm willing to pay a little bit, as long as it really works. The one I've been eyeing is Murad's Vitamin C (Essential c?) moisturizer.
Any words of wisdom will be much appreciated. (PS I've never posted before so please forgive me if this is repetitive!) |

Hello and welcome plainjane,
Dermalogica does a moisturiser with SPF 15. It's called Sheer moisture. They also have three tinted version, light, medium, dark, also with SPF 15. I have a sample of these so I'll be using them soon. I use the Dermalogica total eye care with SPF 15 and I find it works really well as a concealor and fairly well as a hydrating eye cream. There's lot of help on the site if you just put in a search for the items you need, your query will be solved in no time.

I love using Aloette's Cellular Day Defense. It's SPF 15 and it makes my skin glow. |

Welcome to the forum. My vote would go to Kosmea Moisturising Lotion SPF30+ if you can get your hands on it. Not only does it have a high spf, it also has lots of antioxidants (green tea, vitamin E, etc) and is made from natural ingredients. |

I use this for anti-oxidants and sun protection. Although it doesn't state it's SPF (can't for some legal reason, but they told me it's equivalent to like 20-25SPF). Although you could layer it with a high SPF mineral sunblock.

"The Sun Protector & Moisturizer acts as a natural sun protection by guarding against the effects of UVA and UVB rays. It moisturizes skin to fight against skin damage caused by dehydration and heat; sun protection factors include: fighting free radicals leading to wrinkles, with grape seed and other antioxidants; allowing skin to repair damage from UV exposure faster than it occurs; and protecting against the destruction of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that have been clinically proven to be anti-tumor, such as Vitamin E. The concentration of minerals screen against UV damage, and the abundance of grape seed extract provides powerful anti-free-radical and anti-tumor protection. Scientifically selected and formulated nutrients provide effective and natural sun protection and repair from UV rays while energizing and beautifying skin."
Dr Hauschka's looks good too. |

I would have to agree with Mabsy on the Kosmea Daily Moisturiser SPF30+. It would suit all skin types and is so easy and light to apply. |
