I live in Chicago and I'm going down to Houston next month. I would like to have a tan before I go b/c I'll be in warm weather clothes. I can't use it on my face b/c I'm on Obagi and Hydroquinone, you know...will work against it.
Thought a bronzer would do the trick. Can anyone offer any certain brands that work really well? |

I love MAC Refined Golden, it does have the tiniest irredescent particles in, you are not left looking like a glitterball, they are so subtle, whenever I wear this bronzer my skin is lifted and looks healthier.
Also Dr Hauschka Translucent Bronze Concentrate is particularly good, you can use it on it's own, mix it with you moisturiser or foundation. It goes on very sheer and you can build it up for a deeper bronze too. |

I love benefit's hoola bronzer. It gives a really nice tanned look, not a orangy shade which alot of bronzers do, and it isn't very shimmery which is what i like about it

The MAC, Benefit and Nars you should be able to get both on-line and from stores.
The Dr Hauschka I think would have to be purchased on-line |

Don't laugh......its a bit "low brow", but Jane has a wonderful oil free bronzing powder with a tiny bit of sparkle. Sunkissed Bronze is my favorite color.......imparts a very natural, beachy effect. |

My three favorite bronzers are non-shimmery, which I prefer. If I want a little shimmer on my cheekbones, I apply just a bit of Bobbi Brown bronze brick over the bronzer.
*GloMinerals
*Aveda
*Guerlain Terracotta 2--contains talc, but does not bother my skin like some products with talc.
My favorite self-tanner for face is Clarins Liquid Bronze for Face and Decollete. Clarins Radiance Plus is nice too. Both of these self-tanners give me a natural tan without looking like it came out of a bottle. |

I like MAC Golden bronzer, it's a nice brown shade, with only a hint of warm. I mix it with (yes, it's low end, so what it works) Bonnie Bell Accopulco Glow (very light) these days as the MAC bronzer is quite dark on it own.
I also use Pure Luxe Sunkissed bronzer, you would definitely have to order onlinewww.pureluxecosmetics.com
I've heard Too Faced bronzers, Sun and Snow Bunny, are good as well. Jane sound great as well, I haven't tried either.
I really like Trucco After Glow bronzer, the shade and intensity are perfect for me but it's really glittery, like disco ball glittery. You could try it at the counter first, find a salon in your area atwww.sebastian-intl.com. It may be what you need, the shade is so fabulous, no orange.
I love bronzers, I use them in place of blush most days, just more natural. |

Sometimes I will use a soft shimmery eye shadow as a bronzer if I am in a rush and it is the first thing at hand. Works just as well. |

My daughter is an avid user of face bronzer.. She has used from Benefit's Hoola to MAC, but she has been loyal since she's tried NARS Laguna.. She loves it! |

I love Physician's Formula palette bronzer in Light Bronze. Looks very realistic for fair skin tones. They also have a darker one. These run a little over $10. |
