Hi, I'd love help in finding something difficult. A Vit. C serum/gel, NO vit. e, my skin HATES Vit. E, and no oils except maybe a TINY TINY bit of an oil, but NO OILY feel, but glycerin is ok.
The really tricky part, ALL NATURAL? and stable/effective, meaning pH around 3-4, and 10-20% vit. c.
Is there anything out there like this?
I've tried making my own, just can't get it right.
Thanks |

sorry everyone, my post directly above this one was meant to be a new one asking about Vit. C serum.
And I do really appreciate all those who helped me with my original post about a pore refiner.
I have found the Living Nature Soothing EPO Honey gel helps refine my pores and is completely all natural ingredients : ) It has flax gel, manuka honey, and other goodies in it, and I add a tiny bit of glycerin to it to make it just right for my skin.
But.... Now I need help building collagen, and reversing photo-aging.
I want to find a really effective Vit. C serum, all natural , no Vit. E, and no oil in it unless it's the TINIEST bit. Glycerin is ok. (see my post above).
Thanks for all your help! |

I would like to recommend Skinceuticals Serum 10. It is a great stable product with a short and sweet ingredient list: water, l-ascorbic acid, zinc sulfate, bioflavonoids, sodium hyaluronate. This also comes in concentrations of 15 and 20%. I was surprised to find such a natural ingredient list with a company that does not make a big song and dance about being free of this and that ingredient.
The other natural one I have seen, but not tried, is by Devita and theirs is a 20% concentration. |

Thank you Mabsy for doing that for me! Really nice of you.
Smoothskin, I will definitely try to get or buy a sample of the Skinceuticals. I'm glad it isnt' just a real watery serum, because then that might just be too harsh. I like that it has hyaluronic acid in it.
I've tried a sample of Devita Vit. C, and wow, is it strong! will burn the skin, but it has too much oiliness, breaks me out. I have to dilute it if I use it, it's just so strong. Will clear out a blemish, though!
Thanks so much to both of you!!!! |

Check Henry Tianus Antioxidant Purifying Serum with 10% vit C. I think it is a natural vit c serum with organic ingredients.
PS: I use Henry Tianus Antioxidant Youthful Essence with 20% vit C + vit E and happy with result.
Good luck,
Lin x |

Thank you Linda Carter and Chrissie.
Linda, I've never heard of that brand and it sounds wonderful. Really glad you told me about it. I'm going to look into it right now : )
Chrissie, I wish my homemade Vit. C were more successful, however, it's too irritating for my skin, just can't get it right, but I'm still trying. If I add other things to make it not irritating it either breaks me out or changes the pH so that it wouldn't be effective for building collagen : ( I'm having a little more luck using flax gel as a base and putting my C serum on my face after I've used some glycerin/water toner on my skin to buffer it. I'll keep trying, though : P |

Linda, sorry, I forgot to ask you, the Tianus Youthful Essence, does it have much Vit. E in it, because if it feels heavy it will clog my pores, my skin doesn't do well with Vit. E at all.
And you said you were happy with results, could I ask what you've noticed?
Thanks. |

Hi Ocean,
Henry Tianus Antioxidant Youthful Essence has vitamin E (not sure what percentage it is), it is not heavy at all. I notice it evens out the skin tone and I feel the skin is firmer too. Other commented that I have radiant complexion. The only thing is if you have dry skin, they suggested to combine it with their Antioxidant Hydrating Serum or Antioxidant Eye, Lip & Neck Serum. I don't follow their advice to be honest! Currently, I apply Skinceuticals Daily Sun Defense SPF20 on top in the morning and at night Decleor Aromessence Angelique on top of Antioxidant Youthful Essence. |

bought antioxidant youthful essence over 6 months a go, I did like it a lot. It's a light serum, ever since I have been trying few different brands (Skinceuticals & GreatSkin). Thinking to go back to henry tianus when I finished with GreatSkin C Serum. |
