Hi Keziah, I had the same problem with very dark underarms. I was not sure if it was due to using deodorant as I never paid any attention until I noticed people kind of staring there. I tried lots of products but nothing helped until I tried this "Sea Chi" cream. It is made with organic ingredients that is known for its healing properties. I basically bought it to use towards my facial regime but when I read that it is effective for burns, blemishes, psoriasis and exzema, I thought I would put it on my elbows, knees and my underarms and anywhere that looked rough and dark. I have been using Sea Chi creme for 2-3 months and already I have noticed a great improvement. I am ready to face the world with tank tops without my armpits being gaped at. The Sea Chi products are expensive but I would rather spend my money on it because it is working and it is organic. Because I live in Canada, I have to pay import duties and taxes but it is worth it. Check out the web site: www.SeaChi.com
I hope I have been able to help. Keep in mind that this is a personal recommendation. I am sure there are many members who also have excellent advise for this problem. I wish you success. |

Have you tried lemon juice or exfoliation products? Also have heard of people using a hydrogen peroxide/lemon juice solution and MaMa lotion like on dark elbows and knees. Don't know if the mama would be too harsh, but maybe someone has tried it? |

My mum tried the hydrogen peroxide solution on her elbows, and it worked great for her. Her skin wasn't too dark but she wanted to do something about it and that worked for her. |
