..exactly do you apply them.. I'm used to BE so I buff.. I know you don't buff with the PL tho.. I tried the foundation and it's to light.. So while I wait for the next one, I wanted to practice..

Will you share your knowledge, please?

How much do you use per layer?

Exactly how is it applied? I need exact instrustions, sorry.. Trying to understand and picture how it's done from reading can be hard...LOL

Thanks in advance and I'll try not to be to much of a PITA as I try to master this...

I assume you have a tiny jar sample so here's what I do.

I dump out a little pile about the size of a nickel onto a piece of paper. I use a fluffy powder brush (mine is smashbox) and swirl it in the powder. Then I tap it flat on the paper to get off excess. Then I just brush it onto my face in short strokes starting in the cheek area. You don't want to buff this stuff, just 'dust' it on lightly.

If I apply too much I spritz my face and then dab at it with a flocked sponge.

Then I fold the paper in half and dump the extra into the jar again.

Hope that helps

Thanks lianne.. So when are you moving here to be my personal PL guide...LOL

I knew I had seen instructions, but couldn't find them for the life of me...LOL Probably because they were right in front of my face! I had tried them right away, and almost got it right.. I used the lid to an old BE foundation jar, and I'm sure I put to much in the lid, but I did use it all, and didn't swirl and tap, I plunked and went for it.. I was hoping the more I put on the darker it would get.. I got the suntan, because they said it was the one to get if you use the whatever I used in BE.. It's to light.. and Now I'm trying to figure out what to get to try to add to darken it.. It will be fine in the winter when I don't do such a dark tan, I think, but for now, I like a deep tan.. I just don't know.. Again, you'll be here when? Very Happy

Any other tricks and tips I need to know as I get more and more into this? I won't pay the ungawdly amount they want to join the site that hosts the PL message baord... I won't pay to join a message baord...LOL SO I am depending on the kindness of others...***said in my best Scarlette O'Hara voice***

The delphi forums are free. I don't pay for it...They do have an account that you pay for..but the "Basic" is free. It's not a very busy forum...5-10 posts a day.

Looking at the PL site I'm guessing you'll want to mix in Cocoa or Caramel. Samples are cheap so you can always get both. If you're neutral I think cocoa might be better b/c caramel looks kinda orange, but I could be wrong.

I find the warm cream foundation a tad too dark for me so I'm having to mix in ivory. Once you find the right mix Chris will do it when you order the full size.

As for moving there to be your PL guide....Isn't going to happen anytime soon. I start my new job next week and will need to save up a whole lot of money first b/c I'm close to 0 right now.
