I'd been thinking about trying mineral make up for a while when I saw a post about this UK based website. The good thing is that they sell samples that are really cheap so you can try products before buying. I got three foundations (99p each), one blusher (49p), one bronzer (99p), one cover up (49p) and three eyeshadows (29p each). So far I've used the foundations, blush and cover up. I absolutley love the foundation and I'm definitley a mineral makeup convert! The coverage is great (without looking cakey or obvious) and I don't even have the correct brush, I'm just using my normal powder brush. I'm glad I got the three colours because I thought the first one was good enough (blondie), until I tried the second one (candy cane) and I think that's pretty much a perfect match for me. Today I'm wearing warm peach which is also a good match, and of course you can blend colours together to get your exact tone. I tried the cover up but I noticed in the accompanying leaflet that you can just dip a wet brush into the foundation and use that as a cover up, which I guess saves a bit of cash! The blush is lovely, although I do still like my MAC. Another great product is the shine away. It's a grey/brown coloured powder that looks a bit scary but actually goes on translucent and can be used before or after foundation to take away shine. I'm still a bit shiny by the end of the day, but much less than usual. I'll post another review when I try the bronzer and eyeshadows. Sorry to go on so much, but this is my first experience of mineral make up and I'm really pleased with the results! |

I forgot to mention that the samples of foundation, bronzer and the shine away come in little pots, and the blush and eyeshadows in little bags. The easiest way to use is to tip the powder into a bigger pot or even onto a tissue. I've never used JI or BE so I have nothing to compare this to, but I'm really impressed and happy with the results. |

I think there was a thread about this a little while ago.
I've upgraded my samples to the mini kit. So you get a half size foundation, 5gms of bronzer, blush, finishing powder, eye colour, sample of concealor. I rate it better than BE & JI simply because I found BE too shimmery and JI too dry. It also doesn't contain any bismuth for those concerned about that.
I do have the applicator brush but I've recently begun using a flocked type sponge and this gives a slighly heavier coverage but still very natural finish.
I've just sent off for about 15 samples of the eye powders as a little goes a long way. So it will be a while before I need to upgrade to the full pots but again they are still cheap £4 each. |

I have just placed an order with them, gone for 2 sample foundations, 2 eye shadows, 2 blush and the finishing powder. Hope it works as I spent the grand total of £6!! |

This looks fantastic, for those prices it is worth ordering the samples and I was pleased to see that the postage and packaging is only £2 at the very most!! |
