Love their moisturecover concealer and also the pencil eyeliners (the name escapes me). Whatever you do stay AWAY from their longwear lip glosses *yuck* |

Mabsy dear, details, please!
BCgirl, I love their lipsticks, at one point I was a MAC lippie junkie! I still use and love their Twig satin lipstick (6th tube! ) but be forewarned they can dry your lips a bit. |

First of all if you can try and hog the attention of the MA at the counter, they are normally very good and will show you what colours will look best on you, match up your concealer and foundation shades and let you test the products.
I always ask them to test a product on me I am thinking of purchasing then go and do the rest of my shopping so I can see what I look like under natural light and make up my mind without feeling I have to buy anything. Then if I like, I will go back and buy what I want.
I would recomend:
*Studio Finnish Concealer
*Powders
*Bronzers
*Blushers
*Eye Khols
*Fluidline eye liners
*Pigments
*Eye Paints
*Eye Shadows
*Brushes are fantastic!!
I am not overly impressed with the lipsticks (much better from Clinique), liquid foundations, lipglosses.
Some of the Mascaras like the Pro Mascara are really good, others are just awful. |

I'd recommend the fluidliner, any eyeshadow since it's so pigmented, the mac blot powder, blush (especially in swoon if you like pinks) and their lip glosses which are so pretty. I'd stay away from the studio fix pressed foundation - it made me break out horribly. They also have this great mascara that has fibers in it - can't remember the name but it made my skimpy short lashes appear thicker and longer. |

i love love LOVE the Retro lippie -- the perfect, albeit, dark nude shade. it's matte and very drying, but i've never found a shade like it and believe me i've tried. i usually wear it over a moisturising lippie or balm. it's just such a perfect polished business look when red is too much, pink is too frou-frou, and au naturel looks like you forgot something.... |

I LOVE....
1. Blot
2. Lipglass
3. Select Concealser (not the one in the stick...its too oily)
4. Select cover foundation...I havent been using it lately but will go back once my face gets in order.
5. Kohl Eyeliners
6. Eyepaint...LOVE THESE!!! I use the really dark ones as eyeliners...they do not budge all day...and they come off really easy.
Have fun! |

Ask and yee shall receive....
I'm talking about the Pro Longwear Lipcolour. I bought one (ironically called "For Keeps") while I was in San Diego last year and doing some MAC retail therapy with Sassyred. It's one of those double-ended lipglosses where the colored one is on one end and the clear glossy "sealant" is on the other. I really loved the colour of this and the fact that I figured it would be just like their regular lip glosses but it would last longer. Bleh! I actually bought this straight after the SA put this on me because I really liked how it looked. By the time I was getting back to my hotel I knew I had made a mistake, and I was flying out shortly after so couldn't go back and return it.
This stuff is incredibly drying and only looks good on me for about an hour. After that, it's matte and it starts to somehow pill-up in places and gets uneven. It looked like I had solidified bits of colour in places. Not a pretty look! It also feels gritty then, on top of my lips feeling parched. So, given my experience with this, and the fact that you have to reapply the glossy coat quite regularly anyway, I'm now sticking with the normal MAC lipglosses (I *need* to get Viva Glam V...). |

I've heard bad reviews about the Pro longwear lipcolor... i'll stay away from that
I am definately going to get a lipstick, they have soo many shades to choose from, I am wanting something pinkish and sheer. Something like this:
I also want a cream blush to give me a nice dewy glow

Couple of MAC must haves:
Twig lipstain - it really is the perfect color
Burle' eyeshadow - it's the perfect base color
Studio fix foundation
Concealer - it comes in a tube, not cakey at all, and is very easy to work with using a brush for blending - |

If you can find it their lipstick in HIGH TEA. It's my absolute favourite. Great for someone who doesn't like flashy lipstick its a neutral lustre....Great Colour. However, I don't see it on their website anymore so it may be discontinued. |

Oooh, I have to get the Twig lip stain!! I really like MAC lipsticks, the shades don't turn pink on me like some.
Rich Ground fluidline is so gorgeous on me and lasts all day.
The foundations stress my skin out, the silica (in really high concentrations) dries my oily skin, I just can't use them.
Sunabasque blush is gorgeous! Like a bronzer blush all in one.
So many great eye shadow and pigment shades, even though some are very dramatic, there are a lot of great neutrals. I really like the Tan pigment. Happy shopping! |

Lolli!!!!!
You are so bad,
I know I will be lusting after the Rich Ground Fluidline and Sunbasque now!!
Yes the pigments are lovely, but rather than buy the full sized pots (there is far too much), look on ebay for samples, you can normally bulk buy several different shades and sample pots last ages as you only need the tiniest amount.
For anyone who lives in the UK, Superdrug stocks Barry M which have Dazzle Dusts, these are practically the same as the MAC pigments and only £4.50 a pot plus the colour selection is far better.

I love my fluidline in waveline. It's a dark blue with a bit of pearly shimmer to it.
it almost looks black, but softer and brighter. It really doesn't scream BLUE EYELINER, which was my fear when buying it. |

Rosebud, you will love Sunabasque! LandB recommended it quite some time ago and I searched it out right away.
I completely forgot about my favourite liner, Subculture! It matches my natural lip colour so well. It's quite light but not too much so, it's a staple for me. One thing, it drags but I use it because the shade is right on. |

I really like the pressed powder (but I apply it with a big powder brush rather than the pad that comes with it) and the powder blush. I have a couple of the eyeshadows and an eye pencil that I like, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the liquid foundation. I found it a bit too cakey for me, and felt that it made me look a bit orange. Not good! |
