I bought one of these on a whim, sort of expecting it to be no good, but it is! The color goes on smooth and bright, and it doesn't dry out my lips and lasts a good 8 hrs. I bought the 'everbloom kiss', a nice, natural pinky color. I top it with my cherry Nivea lip balm, and it looks great, not overdone.

The marker itself has a neat little sub-cap in the in actual cap so it doesn't dry out. I've bought more expensive lipstains that weren't this nice.

For $7, i think I'll pick up a couple more.

I was wondering if it was worth the money. Have you ever tried Urban Decay's lipstain? If so, how would you compare it?

I have had terrible experiences with lip stains and can never find one that does what it says. I will have to give this one a try though.

Hi Violetann, I'm glad this lipstain worked out for you, it did not for me. I found it very drying, the color changes when applied, and I am unable to control the outline of my lips as well as I can with a lip liner.

Yes there have good reviews over on MUA which is what had gotten me interested in trying this. I think when I do get it I will buy from a place that takes returns in case I really don't like it. I've been looking for a lip stain forever. So far I've never been happy with the one's I've tried over the years.

One you may want to give a shot is called Mehru Herbal Lip Dye. The have some crazy colors, but if you can't find an exact one there is a clear dye to help lighten colors. This stuff STAYS ON! It is the best I have found so far.

i have everbloom kiss and use the cherry nivea lippie as well and while i like the color when applied sparingly, it doesn't last very long on me, usually no longer than about 30 mins or so. guess it's just me. it's still decent and i do like it but wish the staying power was better.
