I was looking at this product too. It has awesome reviews on MUA. Currently I use a soft-bristle toothbrush and warm water every night. My lips look great, but for some reason this product still looks interesting to me.

I make my own homemade lip scrub, but that doesn’t stop me from trying out store-bought lip exfoliating products whenever I happen to see them, whether at Sephora, the department store, the supermarket/drugstore or a Mary Kay catalog! What can I say? I have no self control. Confused

So far, I’ve found my own version to be more effective than everything I have tried (did you really expect me to say anything else?!).

However...

It should come as no surprise to those who are familiar with my little * spam alert */fetish with any type of lip-related products, that immediately after seeing Wenrwdy’s post, I went to MUA to check out the reviews for Lip Apeel and then on to Ebay to order a pot of it to try.

Hopefully, by this time next week I’ll be able to provide at least an initial review of this product and – if it turns out to be better than my homemade lip scrub – I will have no trouble admitting that fact, nor with shelling out around twelve bucks to buy more!!

Yes, LipFusion and oral hyaluronic acid/collagen supplements are my holy grail for plumper lips. But when it comes to lip products, I'll waste my money to try just about anything! Wink

damn you all -- another thing i want to try!!! Razz i've been using kenzoki's lip duo which i love, however, it's more expensive and nearly impossible to keep intact.

keep me posted please.

Hey, carekate - I asked because the makers of lip fusion have a new product out - I posted a question here to see if anyone had used it yet. It is supposed to be along the technology of the lip fusion, only for your face. Sounds good, but expensive.

I purchased this off ebay about a month ago...the first time I used it, I think I overdid it a bit! I put too much on and scrubbed too hard--the directions say to "gently" scrub--and my bottom lip was swollen and very red Embarassed . The lip balm it comes with is very soothing, though, and a few days later my lips went back to normal (my lips are naturally full, though not Angelina-like!). Next time I used it, I gently rubbed lips and they looked smooth and soft. I thinks it's worth a try for $12, but it won't replace my favorite lip treatment...Shu Uemura Lip Principe. I've been using this since last year and love it Very Happy

So Carekate, what's the verdict on this one? Laughing

It's okay. It's not the greatest thing I've ever used to exfoliate my lips and I'm not overly fond of the lip balm. It's probably my imagination, but when I use the paraffin stuff to exfoliate my lips, then rinse it off and apply the balm, it seems to me that the lip balm has a habit of "beading" up and congregating down around my lip line and it's a sensation that I must definitely do NOT like!!

If I had to recommend a lip exfoliant and lip balm duo, I'd have to give the nod to Benefit's Dr. FeelGood Lipscription instead, even though it costs nearly thirty bucks. I like it much better than LipApeel, but I still wouldn't say it was worth that much money!

I haven't decided yet, but I'm thinking of putting my LipApeel up for swap on MUA....
