I recently got the Earth to Body Clay-neem treatment and Emu-neem soap from the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition) . They're amazing. My skin cleared up so much. Even my co-workers were complimenting on how smooth it looks. I still have a lot of scarring but the fact that my makeup can cover them is amazing. The products are all natural.
Here's the websitewww.earthtobody.ca |

I really like the Clay-Neem Treatment. It comes in a powder form so I mix it with tea tree oil and water to form the paste for the masque. It's amazing.
The soap is good too. It's not drying at all and it cleanses my skin really well.
If you live in the GTA and plan to go to the CNE, they have it in the Hobbies & Craft building (aka the Queen Elizabeth Building). |

Just a little update with the Earth to Body stuff.
I love this stuff more than ever. I have their toner and acne kit now (emu-neem soap, clay-neem treatment, acne treatment and the emu oil). I can't believe the difference in my skin. For those of you who want something natural for your skin, I highly recommend this line. |

Website looks interesting and is nicely done. I like their ingredients too. Wish they were easily available in BC. |

They don't have any distributors in Toronto either. I was told by another forum member that shipping is only $7.50 for expedited shipping. They do offer a 20 day return policy (I was told by the sales person). |

I ordered the clay-neem mask and emu-neem soap. They both smell great and I love how they are all natural. Shipping was a $%^& as I'm in the US but hopefully it will be worth it! I'll post back with results (only been using the products for 1.5 days now). Thanks, Yen! |

I've been using it consecutively for about 5 days now and it's a pretty good simple clay mask. It's not a miracle product but when I started I had horrible red raw cysts due to my previous "monthly friend" and now they are about 90% healed (the remaining 10% just requires more exfoliation and a slight red mark lingers and the area is still a bit dry - I had about 3-4 cysts in ONE area so you can imagine). I have not had anymore cysts and my overall skin is healing and I find I have gotten LESS whitehead type acne as well. However I have also started on an acne gel I got from a Escents (Canada-based aromatherapy store) so I'm not sure if this or the mask or both is what is keeping my acne at bay.
I've been mixing it with my Decleor oil (added some lavendar to that) and my toner. I think I'm going to also add 2-3 drops of Juvenil in (since I want to use it up) before my tea tree oil gets here. However I'd have to say this is one of the most DRYING clay masks I have ever used - even more so than my PSF which to me wasn't THAT dry in the first place. Even if I make up a more watery consistency it dries to a terribly tightening state where my eyes look a all droopy because my skin tightened so much Now I am a big fan of clay masks and I use masks on a daily basis (I'm a mask freak ) and even though this is probably a repurchase because it's so affordable and effective and I can mix it with whatever I want, I'd still like it more if it didn't dry so tightly. However my skin doesn't feel all that dried out after i wash it off (probably because I mix it with my toner). I also find that my pores were less visible immediately after.
Later on I will start to mix it with tea tree and grapefruit oil when my oils get here. I'll also update when my monthly friend arrives again to see how good this mask is with preventative measures. |

I looked at these products and I would have tried the emu-neem soap but they only offer "Priority SHipping" for $15 to the U.S. (!) That seems way to much for a $4 product trial. I found no other, less expensive shipping method offered. Strange, because other Canadian retailers don't charge that much for shipping to the U.S.! |

They are a little family company (probably need to make a profit off shipping???).
The shipping is pricey but the products are well worth it. |

Ok, not to scare anyone off...but I am having the most severe 'purge' ever after introducing the emu-neem soap and neem-clay mask. I am hoping that the mask is just making everything come to the surface but I use clay masks regularly so I am curious as to where it's coming from! I'll be sure to update after a couple of weeks though, although right now I am cheating and using BP to try to calm things down. |

I think it's probably because they're not that big of a company yet so maybe don't get shipping discounts like other Canadian retaillers do. They ship expedited/priority which $14 for a package is probably the right price considering how expensive Canada Post is. |

Uh oh. I was thinking of getting the emu-neem soap. Are you broken out all over? From the hormonal acne and MMU threads, i can tell that we have similar skintypes, so I'm getting a little bit wary. For the record, my skin doesn't like emu oil, but i like the fact that this company does a soap with neem in it. Let us know how things turn out. |

Olyn, I'm sorry to hear about the purging. How often have you been using the Clay-Neem Treatment? I used the Clay-Neem Treatment every other day for the first week. It brought out a couple of small blemishes but that was it. The website did say that you would experience some purging because it draws all the "toxins" to the surface. What have you been using to make the paste? |

I had been using the clay-neem treatment every other day, and the soap 2x per day. I broke out along the sides of my face, and chin, and hairline. I know this sounds dramatic, but I have probably Never had this bad of a breakout before, even with the cystic type-that would be like one or 2, and easy to hide. This was like 3-4 on each side, 3 on my forehead area, and 4 on my chin. And although they weren't as bad as cystic, several were almost that size! I mixed the clay mask with some tea tree and eucalyptus oil, and bottled water. I'm holding off on the clay treatment for a few days to see if things get calmed down, then I'll try to reintroduce it and see how it goes. Things have calmed down a LOT already (Thank you, combo of derma wand, Neutrogena peel, and BP). So either the products are Really effective at driving toxins out, or my skin hates them. |

Thanks for this recommendation. I checked the site and bought the clay neem mask and the soap.
I know that neem leaves are used alot as a herbal remedy. It is the perfect thing if you have a skin itch like chickenpox (yes I had it once at university and used to wash my skin with the blended leaves on advice of my grandma-forget zovirax and the allergy meds, the neem really soothed the horrible bumps)..also good for the hair...
Will keep you posted on if the products work for the face...I am prone to skin breakouts as I live in central london and I can sometimes swear I smell the pollution! |

Yen,
Are you stil in love with this company? I'm curious how your skin is reacting in the longer term. I know from the posts, that you are like me, in that a product will work great for a while, then stop working. I'm trying to go more natural with my skincare, and this company seems like a good one to try. |

Yup, I'm still in love with this company. I have an extra bar of the emu-neem soap and the clay-neem treatment so I'd never be without them. |

I'm going to have to give them a try. I've been using the JB Green Apple Cleanser, but I'm worried about it reducing the effectiveness of the copper peptides I'm using at night. Do you think the Ance kit is a good place to start? |
