I actually found this site when browsing trying to find Organic Catnip for my cats!
Anyway, after looking round the shop I couldn't resist ordering a few things (well may as well make it worth the Postmans while - Catnip only light!!LOL).
I ordered the following:
Cat Pack - Cat Gift Box - obviously! - Cats loved it by the way - especially the 'Top Cat'.
Three 'C's Facial Steam - This is a small bag of loose herbs you add to boiling water and allow to steep and then steam you face. - Not used this yet but will update the review as soon as I have.
Himalayan Crystal salt - a pink salt that you can use in the bath, or in cooking! You need a tiny amount - will be ordering more!
Ohm Bath and Body Oil, A calming blend of Neroli, Jasmine absolute and Frankincense absolute essential oils in an Almond and Jojoba oil base. - This smells gorgeous - a beautiful moisturising and soothing body oil.
Red Sky @ Night - for Red Hair - Organic Marigold infused [organic] Olive oil , blended with essential oils of Neroli, Lavender & Rose absolute and Jojoba oil, to condition hair and enhance red tones.
This is one of their range of hair conditioning oils. You warm the bottle in hot water then massage into hair and leave for 30 mins (or as desired). You then shampoo out and they suggest a final rinse of lemon juice.
I left this in for the recommended time, I found it took 2 shampoos to remove it and I used a mixture of lemon juice and cider vinegar before the final rinse. My hair is long, prone to tangle and is due a trim so I put a little conditioner on the ends. This left my hair looking vibrant and with body, I broke the rules again as they say to leave to dry naturally but I had to go out so dried my hair and straightened it. The finished look was brilliant - my hair was smooth and frizz free and better than when I use products designed for smooth straight hair (they tend to make my hair look lank). Love this!
I also got a free Gentle Touch Bath Brew, which contains organic Calendula Petals, Chamomile Flowers and Nettles for senstive skin and inflamed / irritated skin. This is a faff to use - so make sure you have time - but it is well worth it! You tip the bag of herbs into a bowl or teapot and pour on boiling water and leave to steep for 5 - 10 mins then strain it into a freshly run bath.
I couldn't wait to try it as my skin has been a bit dry and irritated but I was a bit skeptical as I've tried bath teas before and found them sadly lacking!
This is like bathing in herbal tea! The water turned a golden colour and the smell was amazing. Very soothing. After my skin felt soothed and strangely moisturised but not like when you've used a moisturising product - just 'normal healthy and not dry'.
The customer service was brilliant and I plan to try some of the herbal teas and will order some more of the bath brews!
ETA: They also sell the loose herbs so you can make up your own blends if you want! |
