The DIY thread is just too long to find this. I wish there was a more organized way to view recipes now that here are so many.
Does anyone just happen to have this one? |

I suggest that the recipe thread is for recipes only, and any comments or questions on any of the recipes be posted on another thread.
That would make it easier to look for recipes, wouldn't it? |

I agree... that it's difficult to find recipes in the DIY thread without having to go through pages and pages...
I have been wanting to make up a simple webpage listing recipes by category for everyone to view but I haven't gotten around to it. I thought if I was going to be keeping track of them myself on my computer (through MS Word) I might as well do the webpage. I just have to set up/ subscribe to webspace first |

Okey dokey! I'll get onto this on the weekend. I will try to extract the actual recipies from the ginormous thread and put them all up in a locked sticky post - this will be updated on a regular basis. |

I agree that there’s way too much “clutter” and chit-chat in the DIY thread now and think it would be fab for Mabsy to move the true recipes to a locked thread we could use as reference.
To answer your question, papaya, peach or pumpkin can be used as an enzymatic mask so perhaps you could mash one of these fruits and mix it with your dissolved aspirin and maybe a bit of honey or yogurt to “bind” it all togther.
Have a look around pgs 12-14 of the DIY thread where I posted the “Intro to AHAs/BHAs, 101" primer and re-posted Winnie’s recipe (I think it was Winnie!) for a “peach smoothy mask” or something. It’s definitely somewhere around pg 12 thru 14 (hey, it’s better you only have to skim through two pages rather than all 20 – at least I’m giving you a ball-park!!). |

This is the best I could come up with in a short period of time. I will give this more thought and try to improve the situation somehow over the next few weeks; for now I hope this helps you ladies.
I've decided to get away from having two separate "open" threads as, no matter what you say, someone will always start a discussion in the recipes only one and we have no functionality to move that post to another thread (other than separating it altogether). I've thus created a locked index which is now a sticky. The previous thread is no longer a sticky but can be accessed directly from the index and kept going this way (there is also a link to the index in the recipe/discussion thread). As new recipes are added to the original thread, they will be added to the index.
