Are there any products that will effectively lighten liverspots? I'm hoping to buy some skincare products for my mom for Mother's day. Any suggestions? |

I've used a lot of lightening products with varying degrees of success! I think maybe something like Glyquin would be good to try if she doesn't mind hydroquinone - it's actually quite gentle on the skin and has glycolic acid in too. I used it a while back and liked it although my melasma is a bit too stubborn for it! |

I like Dermadoctor's Immaculate Correction Serum. It's a little pricey, but it has a really nice, silky texture and it also works great on chest, hands, etc. |

Nothing will work if she's not religious about using a good UVA blocking s/s.
UVA is what "feeds" liver spots/sun damage. |

Something like Glyquin with 4% hydroquinone will probably work, if you don't mind the hq. I used Lustra which is very similar to glyquin a few years back and it was the only thing that started to fade my darker freckles. Sadly after about 1 month I developed an allergy to it and even the tiniest spot application with a q-tip caused me to break out in hives. Hopefully your mother will have more luck. |

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll keep them in mind when I order. |
