I've noticed some breakage/loss of eyelashes for the past few weeks.
I'm very careful about removing my mascara and using my eyelash curler.
I'm wondering if I'm vitamin deficient, or perhaps
Any help most appreciated |

DHC makes something called Eyelash Tonic that conditions lashes and prevents breakage. I've never used it, but I've had good luck with their products . |

That was going to be my first question as well! That was Napoleon mascara and I'm staying the hell away from it for the rest of my life! Yuck!
ladyA - harsh makeup remover? perhaps a vitamin defficiency maybe. Try using a lash conditioner and things should improve (e.g. Ardell, Lucia, DreamLash etc). Also there are some supplements that you can take to improve the health of your skin and hair. Have you noticed a difference in your hair as well? |

Hi Mabsy,
I did see a thread about Ardell, so now just to find out where I get this product. So far no luck |

If memory serves me right, none of our Canadian members have been able to find Ardell up there.
If you have a PayPal account and want to try the Ardell, I can send you a tube from my personal stash -- PM me to work out the details.
Otherwise, I agree with the recommendations to use a lash conditioner. If you can't find one in stores, you can always simply apply castor oil with a clean spooly (mascara) wand each night before bedtime. |

Hi -- from what I've gathered from my research many Cdn ladies were able to find Ardell at SDM a local pharmacy here. I inquired there today and they said they were discontinuing all of these products in favor of another brand (of false eyelashes)no conditioner offered. I think I'll give castor oil a 'go'. My only concern is getting milia from this.
Thanks for your reply |
