I recently posted a review on the Organic Pharmacys travel kit - I liked it so much that I ordered some more of their products:
Rose Facial Wash: This is pricey but as I like a facial wash in the morning and I ws on need of a treat I thought what the hell! It is gorgeous! Smells fabulous, is very concentrated and leaves skin soft and comfortable.
Herbal Toner: Smells beautiful (as do all the OP products) I prefer this to Dr Hauschkas toner.
I am fast getting addicted to this range! |

Where did you get your travel kit? I haven't seen any travel kits available in the US...
Thanks

Can you tell us more about the rose facial wash? Is it a gel? cream? does it foam? can it wash off easily with water?
Any feeling of a "film" at all? Any twinge of dryness?
Thanks for the extra info! |

Hi!
I got the travel kit fromwww.theorganicpharmacy.com
ETA: http://www.theorganicpharmacy.com/product4.php?product_ID=224&product_sub_group_ID=47&product_group_ID=15
The wash is a golden gel that you mix with water and massage onto your face. It does foam a little but not hugely - don't expect masses of bubbles as it isn't loaded with detergents. I remove it with a muslin cloth soaked in warm water (came in the travel kit) then splash with clean warm water then cold (just my preference). It rinses clean.
I've not noticed a film left or that my skin felt stripped - just clean and refreshed - I think this would only remove a very light makeup (they recommend its use only in the morning which is how I use it, I use DRH Cleansing milk to remove makeup followed by the Cleansing cream although I may try to OP cleansing milk when I run out I won't be parted form my CC! ).
My skin doesn't feel stripped or dry (I'm not desperate to put on mosituriser like I am after most gel cleansers). In fact I was getting some persistant flaky patches when I was using Dr H CC in the morning which has cleared up since using the OP Rose Cleaning wash. (Seems twice a day with Dr H CC was too much for my skin?).
Hope that helps!

Ouch isn't it pricey! 35ml Rose face cream for £85?! I was tempted til I saw the prices. |

YES! They are VERY pricey - especially with teh current exchange rates from GPB! I caved yesterday and bought the rose gel cleanser (I had been eyeing that off even before Lucia reviewed it) and I also got their collagen boost mask (also about 30 quid).
But at least if you are an international buyer you get about 14% discount on everying (including shipping) becuase you dont have to pay VAT.
I sincerely doubt I would buy the 85 pound cream without a sample |

Yes have to admit my jaw hit the floor at the price of that rose cream - but the other two rose cream (double rose rejuvinating and rose ultra) are WAY less and I had samples of both in the travel set - they are gorgeous - I used the ultra as an eye cream as it is really rich.
Ohh hope you like the cleanser tiger_tim - I have to admit I love it despite its price its gorgeous! |

Aaargh!! I was just having a good old moan on another thread about how none of the "cosmeceutical" type products I use have done anything major to help my skin. And as if by magic, these natural products appear. I'm trying not to buy anything new until I've used up my current stock of products too - I'll keep an eye out for reviews from you guys! |

If anyone tries the antioxident cream - please can you post a review? Got my eye on this one (and the body creme's!! and the bath products and the etc etc ).
By the way the Neroli shower gel was lovely but I prefer Liz Earles - just as well as its much less £££!
Oh oh - almost forgot! I got the lip and eye cream as a sample - its very rich but soaks in - I ws dubious about the rich texture but finally got around to using it for a day or so (I tend to get dehydrated around my eyes infornt of the PC all day at work) and its another product I might 'need' in the full size eventually!! No dehydration lines now(mind you am also using PSF Stimucoll at night so maybe a combination of the two? ) |

Hi
Like I need more products at the moment BUT I'm going to treat myself anyway, girls out of the items you've tried in the Organic Pharmacy range, which do you recommend and like the best?
There's so many that sound inviting but I can't afford them all at the mo, so what do I get first?
Cheers

Has a smaller stock but a little cheaper.
http://www.beautylicious.co.uk/acatalog/The_Organic_Pharmacy.html
The good thing about the O.P site is if you ring them they give good advice & sometimes have a sale, I called for some pills the lady asked a few questions, recommended some stuff and told me about the detox kits (herb bags & oil) they were selling off for a fiver on site they were £19 and not reduced. Bargain! |

Eve, my aim is to buy some products that I won't think, yuk and never use again. I have so many of those. The body cremes sound delish. My skin type is normal/oily but also dehydrated. I like the sound of the foot creme, shampoo, various skin items, body cremes, shower gel etc. |

let's see so that's everything then
I think the eye/lip cream is very good, a little like the Decleor vitalift in texture(I think it's called)
The serum (oil) works well as a skin boost, I use it before nights out along with their moisturiser to get a glow and it seems to pump up the fine lines.
The gel works with the serum but has a slight tightening/ift feel if used alone.
The body cream smells citrusy and is not a thick cream, more like a thick lotion. I use it from bust to thighs. Very nice and if I had more money this would be my body cream of choice for everyday.
edited to add. If you hate them I'll buy them off you |

Is that the Neroli body creme you've used Eve? Sounds yummy. I like the look of the vanilla one too (I have a thing about vanilla, almost everything I buy for the body has vanilla in it somewhere). |

Exactly! That's why I'm asking for the best first!
I'm guessing they don't do samples so you can try before you buy? |

The only sample sizes I have seen are in the kits but the travel kit has some yummy things in it.
If I had to choose one product out of the whole range that I'd choose over all the rest I'd choose...... eek - not sure - probably the Rose Facial Wash or the Anti Oxident Gel or the serum or............Argh! I have no idea!
Sorry - not much help am I!!LOL!
ETA: - I currently have my eye on the Anti Oxidant cream (although I have some Juice Apple SPF 15 mousturiser coming so will wait that one out!) and the Double Rose Eye Serum which looks fab! |
