Tea Tree
Lavender
Lemon
Geranium
Frankensence
Rose - sometimes I like this, other times it is too over powering.
The above I always have at hand, I think everyone should have the top two as they are basically good 'first aid' oils and can be used for anything from burns to acne etc.
The rest is really down to personal preference, if you are able to go round a shop and sniff some oils do, some scents make me feel sick even though other people love them whilst others I could sniff at all day! |

Tea Tree yes. Also wild oregano oil, but not for skin.
I brush my with pure essential oils. A mix of peppermint, spearmint and almond. I will never go back to reg. toothpaste. It is so much better.
Also, Immortle Oil to add to my Rose Hip Oil.
I'd like to know what are the best aromatic essential oils to mask horrible medicated/sulfery type of smells. Something to add to a special care shampoo that smells horrific. |

Peppermint
Eucalyptus
Lavendar
Tea Tree Oil
Red Thyme (I use this along with the first 2 and make a room spray. This is great in the winter to help protect against colds--very antiviral). |

I started using rose hip seed oil a few weeks ago, wow, I am impressed with it, no breakouts, keeps my skin hydrated and is full of antioxidants with no smell or irritation to it. I would recommend this as a beautifying ingredient to add to a moisturizer, such as one tsp. to one tablespoon of cream or lotion after cleansing. I get mine from skinactives.com. |

Personally, I wouldn't buy my EOs from Whole Foods unless I was just shopping for one or two because they SERIOUSLY mark up the prices! I'd go there and sniff that oils to find out which ones you like, but then I'd go home and order them from somewhere likewww.aroma-pure.com orwww.thepersonalformulator.com because you can get bottles nearly twice as big for the same price you'd pay at Whole Foods.
ETA:
P.S. My must haves would be Lavender, Peppermint, Ylang Ylang, Lemon or Orange and Geranium or Roman Chamomile. |

We are almost the same!
But never had Red thyme before.. but gonna add that to the collection.
Lavender is a MUST for before-bed pulse points, insect bites and small burns
Eucalyptus for colds or allergies (steam inhalers), a cap in the wash (for freshness) and for household stain removal (ie. pen marks, scuff marks sticky labels, etc.)
Tea Tree oil: to zap a zit or put on a small cut etc.
Peppermint: just becuase it smells nice when stressed!! We use in the bath or oil burner. We also carry the Origins spot relief cream for stress which is a peppermint one. |
