Oh you lucky thing! Enjoy! My best friend is in Milan at the moment and according this morning's sms it's raining and cold. Not that this helps you. He was in Venice last week and said it was raining and really cold as well (I've left out some other words there, you can imagine what they were....). |

Hi, It's pretty typical springtime weather here (we're in Bologna which is between Rome and Venice.) We still have cool mornings and evenings but we've been having nice warm days, although today is a bit rainy. Rome will probably be warmer than Venice. I would suggest layers and also to bring something for rain, just in case. Hope your family has a wonderful trip! |

Ooops! I just re-read this and realised that it's your mum and brother, and not the three of you. Sorry! I am feeling a little bit less jealous now though |

I went to Rome for a long weekend at the end of March. It rained the first day we were there, the next day was bright but cold and the third day was quite warm. It cools down at night quite a bit though, a coat or jacket is definitley advisable! |
