Hello All,
I've been using stimulcoll for about a week now, and i really like it, but it has an "exfoliating" texture that i am not used to seeing with any other product--is this a normal feature of the product? It feels like fine grains of sand (that i just wipe away after the product dries. I am nervous because i don't want the fine skin under my eyes to tear from this texture--although I have been pretty careful thus far. Any input from fellow stimucoll users would be much appreciated! BTW, I love the entire PSF line!
Thanks! |

Hi!
I received the trial size of this and I noticed it was grainy too - glad it wasn't just me - still like the product though! I agree PSF is a brilliant.

I bought a 5mL trial size of this and it's also quite grainy. I'm still trying to figure out if I like it, though I will probably come around (I don't think there is a PSF product that I tried and didn't like so far). I had to transfer the StimuColl out of the pump bottle it came in though because it just kept squirting out large amounts of it each time I transferred it to a vit C serum sample vial - it will be interesting to see how quickly it will go dark.... |

Darren where are you? |

Darn! I am about to place an order for the full size of StimuColl (for the first time) as well as other PSF products but I guess I'll hold on that till we hear from Darren. (But I really really don't want to wait!!). Were all of the above posts about the trial size? Maybe it was a bad lot # for the trial size product |

I gave up on that and just squirted it out directly into the vial. If you tap the bottom of the sample bottle on something then most of it will head to the bottom and you should be able to get most of it out through squirting. |

Mine is full size--today when i used it I shook it up a little between my hands and the texture was a bit better--I just wonder, after reading some things on this forum, if the c hasn't crystallized... |

Maybe we should get Darren in to comment and fill us all in on the "grains". I am sure there must be a reason! |

Hi, I ordered the small trial size of the Stimul-Coll, hugely disappointed, it is grainy also, yellow/orange, turned my undereyes orangey (not permanent stained, though), and after using it 2 days, my undereyes have developed WAY MORE FINE LINES than I had and really dry and ugly looking.
I ordered other samples of stuff, and I hate all the containers. Why do they put a cleanser in a tiny container with a pop open lid, and you can't get it out without making a mess?
And the Oxygen serum looks, smells and feels just like straight hydrogen peroxide like you buy in the grocery store.
I'm sorry, but what are the good products from this line? I haven't tried the C serum yet, I do have a small sample of it also, and of the firming eye gel, I think.
i love that there are no bad synthetics in these products though.
Anyone know why the Stimu-Coll made my eyes look so old, wrinkled, dry? Is that normal? I have really sensitive eyes and I was so hoping this would really help my fine lines. |

stimucoll makes my eyes look plumped, and i loved the extra added layer of antioxidant prtection for that area. i think it has made a great difference in my undereye area--but maybe that is the retinol talking as well. the grainy texture is disconcerting, though. |

Did anyone find out directly from PSF about the grainy texture of this? Was thinking of ordering, but now am having second thoughts... |

I'm waiting to hear from Darren about this. HE was going to get the previous batches tested. |

I have two 5ml trial sizes and they are both grainy, but I still use them. Wonder if they are as effective that way? |

My understanding from a past purchase is that the grainy texture was NOT the vitamin C but the coconut endosperm (?) or something or other related to the coconut stuff... I don't remember and can't find the email from back when I made the inquiry.
I like the stuff alot though. I just ordered some more of it from EDS |

They tested that particular one batch of the StimuColl against other batches and found that it is a little bit grainy (I'm impressed - PSF keeps a sample of each batch of each product they produce!). All other (earlier/later) batches are smooth. It is still 100% safe to use it's just that it has slightly less water than the previous (and later) batches. If you are concerned about the texture then please PM me.
Meanwhile, knowing this, I'm happy to continue using mine. I just need to be done with my Juvedical sample first (liking this also! ). |

I've been using the eye cream for the past two months and still liking it despite the it having turned a very vivid carroty orange colour and yep feels rather grainy when I smooth it on. Strangly, when it first arrived it was a pleasant yellow shade. I guess the Vit C oxidised overtime as most do whether stable or not so I don't mind that bit. Just that little annoying when I wake up in the morning and look into the mirror to see two dark orange peepers looking back at me, that's all. |

Yep...not the most pleasant thing to see especially when I'm so not a morning person and I wake up all grouchy and still super sleepy and having to face orangey undereyes. But it does seem to be doing something. Not really sure what. Perhaps some slight firming. Yay for that! =) |
