A couple days ago I bought this not even knowing it existed. I had tried Jergins before and wow, the bottle was tiny. I felt like I went through it in a week and a half. The Vaseline Healthy Glow has more product than its competitors. And it was cheaper. So I bought it. When I got home I looked it up on makeupalley and discovered it had good reviews! Wow, I was excited to try it. So I tried it yesterday and with only one application I know I like it better than the ones before. I am SUPER PALE. I haven't tanned outside in years. No sun whatsoever, I mean I glow in the dark. This product seems to have more color than the other gradual tan ones, but it didn't leave any obvious marks. I can't wait to see how deep it is in a full week! Just one application on me, it's almost like a regular self tanner! I got it in medium though because that was the only color I saw. Also, it DOESN'T smell as bad as Jergins. If I hadn't told my boyfriend that I had on self tanner, he probably would have thought I had really bad BO. That's what Jergins and other self tanners smelled like to me. Nasty. So far, I like this one! I'll update when I know more, but has anyone else tried this? I'm assuming its brand new. |

Since this one is a bit darker, I went ahead and bought it and will do a comparison with the Hawian Tropic one. I'm going to do my legs in the Vaseline and the rest of my body in the HT and will report back tomorrow. |

Okay so here are the results of my comparison. The Vaseline is a bit thicker in consistency than the HT, but also more emollient. It does dry in about the same time (just a few minutes). The smell is pretty sweet and I would compare it to a sweet flower. I actually like this smell better than the green tea smell of the HT, but some may think this one is a bit strong.
As far as color goes, I really expected the Vaseline to be much darker than the HT, but as far as I can tell with one application, they produce about the same amount of color. The Vaseline might end up getting darker faster with additional applications, but I haven't tried that yet so it's hard to say. The tone of the color appears to be about the same as well, very natural. And neither give me streaks/spots so I will continue to just use both.
The best part about the Vaseline is that it comes in a larger container for about the same price, so you're getting more for your money. I also like that you can stand the container upside down so that you don't have to keep pounding on the bottle to get it out (as I had to initially). Overall I think anyone would be happy with either of these. I'll update if I find any differences as I start using the Vaseline one more and more. |

Okay, I've been using it for a full week now. Really like the results. Definitely a browner shade than previous gradual tanners I've tried. It definitely got pretty dark on me, with no streaking or any weirdness. I haven't tried the hawaiian tropic one yet but I think I'm sticking with this one. Seems to be a better value than the others as well. |

I agree and will be sticking to this one for now. I went to Walgreens last night with my bf and suggested he buy this one. I'll be interested to see how these products work on him as well. |

Hi all,
I had to try this after reading about it!
I've used it 2x and find that I'm noticeably darker. The colur is pretty natural on me not orange or anything.
It doesn't smell that bad either |

Has anyone tried the new gradual tanner from Aveeno? I bought it last weekend at Walmart but haven't had the chance to apply it yet.... |

Aw, no! I wish all these companies would stop bringing out new gradual tans.
I appear to have developed a terribly unhealthy (not to mention expensive) obsession where I absolutely MUST try every single one of them! |

Funny that you mentioned this product, as I was in Shoppers Drugmart today, and ran into a friend. We were looking at in on the shelf, and after smelling it, I said that it smelled much better than the Jergens version. |
