Unfortunately, (I know because I have them) there isn't much you can do w/o having them zappped with a Yag laser or IPL'd. You can cover them w/ makeup and watch anything that causes them to flare up or get irritated. Spicey food, red wine, washclothes that are too rough, hot water, sun or extreme cold, rubbing that area, exfoliation, and some products are just some of the triggers. |

And don't put steroid creams on your face. |

I have a few very tiny ones around my nose that I'd like to get zapped soon! I know that the cost for this probably varies quite a bit depending on the doctor, where you live, etc...but would anyone that's had it done mind sharing what it cost them? I've never had anything like this done, so I have no clue what would be considered reasonable for this kind of treatment...
Thanks!

My friend had 4 (3on one side and 1 on the other) on the sides of her nose which she had lasered off. They were completely gone for about a year, but came back when she started using AHA's on a regular basis. I'm not sure why this happened and she didn't return to have them re-done. I think it was $140. |

My derm zapped about 9 or 10 spots on my face with laser and it was $80.00. My med/spa had quoted me about 175.00 for their Yag laser. MY IPL's for allover redness and broken caps runs about $320.00 for the entire face. If you have larger caps in just a specific area then the Yag is the way to go. |
