Hey everyone! It has been a long time since I logged in so I thought I would share a update. I have been working on my skin and hair for a month now trying to get it ready for my big move to Tokyo for modeling, so here is my routine...my skin and hair are amazing now, clear, pore less, very white, moisturized (but not oily).
AM:
1. Wash with Vivier hexim using very mild warm water. (This is really the best soap; it actually penetrates the dermas and contains a proven antibacterial ingredient)
2. Pat dry with a towel and apply 100% aloe gel to retain some moisture.
3. Use Vivier SPF 30 (best sunscreen I swear, absorbs amazing - can be used around the eye area with irritation)
4. Foundation (only if needed) - I'm convinced Almay makes the best (most cost effective) one (checkout the clear complexion line).
Tips:
* Don't use self tanner - it looks bad because your skin exfoliates itself everyday, it will never look totally even. Also, most self tan contain alcohol (enough said).
* Don't powder makeup - if you have age lines, it will make them look way worse.
* Avoid blow-drying hair
* Avoid using a hairbrush - this scratches the hair's natural fibre.
* Use regular pumpkin (the stuff you make pie with) for a weekly body-face mask; it is loaded with enzymes, antioxidants and vitamins.
* Take flinstones vitamines 3 times a day (after each meal). Also take a vitamin C (about 500mg) if you do not smoke.
* Workout and eat a balanced diet.
PM
1. Baby shampoo mixed with Nizoral (is very mild on hair, when mixed with Nizoral it helps deliver the medicine across the scalp eliminating dandruff).
2. Vo5 hair oil (I rotate between the moisturizer one and strengthening one), I use it AFTER shampooing instead of before.
3. Vivier Hexim
4. Very cold water rinse (helps to seal the hair cuticle)
6. Retin A creme (I think I use 0.025%)
7. Vitamin K salve (used lightly under eyes to prevent wrinkles. You will need to ask your doctor to make a prescription for this by the way) |

I just received a sample kit from my derm with Vivier Hexim IDS cleanser, gentle toner and the Vit.c IDS Gel facial scrub.
I've been using these for 5 days now and I agree, this is a great cleanser. My skin is thick and on the oily side, but feels very hydrated, soft and smooth after cleansing w Hexim. It's very matte afterwards and seems to keep the PH in check.
So far I'm really liking the toner and Vit.c scrub too, and will likely purchase the full size of all three. |

Could I get more information on this? I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about here, but I'm interested. |

I have to be honest, the vivier toner did not do much for me except make my skin dry. Nivea makes a great, cheap one that works amazing for my skin.
I would also like to add to my list neutrogena firming night creme and eye creme (I have been rotating this with my retin A) |

Good luck and have fun modeling in Tokyo! I did it about four years ago and loved it! Great experience! |

What is this Vivier hexim? I looked up Vivier here and only found the Vivier Foaming Cleanser (Oil-free). Is this what the hexim is? I can't find it on ebay either and when I google it they're giving me alternatives. Do you have a link to the product you're talking about? Also, what kind of 100% pure Aloe gel do you use? From an older plant or from a bottle? And what is the Nivea toner you are using? Your routine alone sounds like you're going to do fabulous modeling in Japan! |

I looked it up too and it is spelled Hexam. It took me a while to find it too! |

Sorry for the confusion ladies and my bad spelling. It is indeed with an "a". |

So this is a Vivier cleanser not offered by EDS? Is it called Vivier HEXAM Moist Skin Cleanser, 200 ml? Or is it Viver HEXAM™ IDS™ Gentle Cleanser? It's very hard to find info on this on the internet for some reason. I'm guessing its the second one because I see it contains Hexamidine, a proven antimicrobial ingredient to fight against bacteria. Hmmm.. sounds interesting. Wish there was some more info on this out there. |

I just emailed EDS to see if they will be carrying the Hexam IDS Gentle Cleanser. Does anyone have the ingredients? It sounds like a great product. |

Sorry TheresaL - I threw the the little box out, and all it says on the container is that it's oil free - alcohol free - hypoallergenic and recommended by physicians. |

The ingredients for Vivier Hexam cleanser according to the Vivier pharma site are:
Water/Eau, Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Cocamidopropyl PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Ethoxydiglycol, DMDM Hydantoin, Fragrance/Parfum, Hexamidine Diisethionate, Citric Acid.
I've just recently started using this cleanser, along with the Vivier deep cleaning astringent. I really like it so far. It's the first quality cleanser I have bought. I was a little hesitant because of the price ( $38 for 5 oz. ), but you only need a dime sized amount. At first it feels like you don't have enough on your face, but after a few seconds it foams up a bit. I wear makeup everyday, and after using this product, my face feels squeaky clean, but not dry. |
