Recently I seem to have developed an allergy to maxi lip--- the lip plumping ingredient in City Lips, The Balm, etc. It really sucks because so many of my glosses have that as an ingredient. Has anyone else ever had this problem? |

The issues are weird--- a few months ago I noticed this scaly patch on my lower lip. It took me forever to figure out what was causing it, but I finally figured it out because for a while I was only using lip balms to help it heal, and it went away, and after it went away I started using lipstick, regular lip gloss etc again with no prob, but the minute I started using the maxi lip products it came back, so I'm pretty sure that's the ingredient that's causing the reaction. I DO have very sensitive skin (for example, I can't use sulfur products without getting a nasty rash), but this is the first time I'm ever had trouble with lip products, which is why I'm checking to see if anyone else has ever experienced this. Having sensitive skin sucks!! |
