Hello girls. I have been reading more reviews on people who have used ADCE and some are reporting facial sagging? One woman said that she used a pure DMAE serum to try to correct the problem?! Should I continue using ADCE? Will it make my skin sag?
TIA!

Hi Erin
This question seems to pop up every once in a while. At first we had long discussions about it so if you do a search from a year or several months ago you might find something. I think the general conclusion was that no-one here ever experienced sagging from it and couldn't see anything in the ingredients that could feasibly cause it. I'd carry on with it. M |

I've been using ADCE on my face and neck since Dec 2005, I've seen no evidence of sagging on my face...other body areas -yes, but its not from AlphaDerma, its cuz I'm getting OLD |

Hi Erin,
I just returned to EDS after several months preoccupied with other things. I have not read the post regarding sagging after using AlphaDerma. There are many great products out there so I am not saying to use AlphaDerma or not. However, I used AlphaDerma regularly for a few years. Actually, I started using it to firm my skin after weight loss. AlphaDerma did help firm and tone my skin.
Some are saying Argireline causes sagging. While I would never use a product with just a carrier cream and Argireline, I do not believe Argireline has any negative effects on skin firmness. Argireline without other good ingredients I consider to be drying (been there).
If you are having good results using AlphaDerma I would continue using it. If not maybe it is not for you. Just don't stop using it thinking you will get a saggy face. IMHO that is nonsense. Perhaps I am missing something but I can't recall any EDS members having this problem. Sounds like scare tactics to me. Besides, I doubt that EDS would sell such a product. |
