Just use with caution. I have sensitive skin and this broke me out and made me itchy. |

Dr. Ci Labo is a Japanese brand and is HUGELY popular here - especially with "career girls" and busy mums. It is a kind of all-in-one treatment.
They do some other lines too, including a popular acne gel (black packaging) and also a CoQ10 line I think. I have only ever tried their collagen spritzer (nice, but ran out too quick).
Over here you have to buy trial kits of the product, which is why I haev never tried it... .. might check out the J site to see if there are some free samples though! |

This stuff is GOOD. I have used it before as a night moisture treatment. I put it on really thick about an hour before bed. It soaks in pretty good then before my head hits the pillow. In the morning my skin is super dewy soft. I use this once a week in the winter months.

the link wasn't working for me, so i tried going straight to the website, and now when you click on "free sample" it goes to an error 404 page.
ETA: only on the english version, through the japanese language version of the website, i could still get to the offer |

I don't know why, when I ordered this yesterday I thought it was a dietary supplement.. like a gelcap or something... So it's a gel you put on your face.. I got in on the offer yesterday, but now that I go back to read the info about it, the link isn't working |

for those having trouble with the link
type in the websitewww.cilabousa.com.
set the language to something other than english--i did japanese, don't worry you don't need to know the language.
some stuff will be in language X but there's a list of links on the side, still in english.
at the bottom of the list, in RED is "Free samples"
click that, and away you go (the form still came up in english for me) |

I have their eye cream. I got it from a Japanese super market in L.A. I tried it before but don't remember the result. I'll try it again tonight. |

I got four of the Aqua-Collagen-Gel samples in the mail recently, and I really liked it. It can feel a bit sticky when you first put it on, but it absorbs into the skin after a few minutes. I tried it at night and the next morning, my skin felt sooo smooth and soft. I thought it worked really well on my combination skin. I don't know if you would get the same results with everyone though.... Cause my sister (who has oily skin) tried the Aqua Collagen Gel also, but she didn't notice a difference to her skin. She also thought it flaked off the next day. I'm considering buying some now. I wanna try some of their basic black acne line too. Has anyone tried that line before? |

I think it took about 3 weeks after I filled out the form on their website. I noticed they took down the free sample form on their site and you have to call in now. So, maybe they got an overwhelming response and that might delay them... Or you could try calling in? |

I've got samples in a week, but that't almost a year ago when they launched in USA. They also gave out sample of Super Photo White C brightining gel. I looked at the site and the sample request page seemes to be gone. Instead, you have to call up to request for samples now.
As of Aqua-Collagen-Gel, it was not hydrating enogh for me, so I have to put moisturizer over this. Super Photo White C brightining gel, it was too greasy to use in daytime and I did not like the smell which is like a medicine. |

juju--i heard the same thing from other people about the gel not being mositurizing enough. i always feel a little weird about gel moisturizers (i used to use dhc's acerola gel and stopped because it never felt nourishing enough). come to think of it i never liked gel cleansers either--too drying for my skin type. i notice they also have a super moisture gel, which is supposed to be extra nourising.
i also found another free link that works for the sample request and filled it out again. hopefully it works this time http://cilabo-studio.com/1/component/option,com_facileforms/Itemid,40/ |
