Hi guys I always have this dry skin on my lips and I wonder what's something you would recommend? I use a generic chapstick which sorta helps but I wish I didn't have to use it at all! Any recommendations? |

In addition to whatever products people suggest, try to avoid eating alot of salt. This always dries out my lips. |

Plus increase your water intake and figure out if you breathe through your mouth at night... Seriously! Whenever my other half has a cold or allergies and starts breathing through his mouth (and snoring! ) he gets REALLY dry lips.

Hi Emperor,
....and whatever you do don't lick your lips when they're dry as saliva will dry them up even more and even get them cracking ! Especially during the cold winter months when you're spending more time inside, the dry, thirsty air will sap all the moisture out of your skin and lips so I would suggest getting a back up of for that chapstick ! Just in case !

Agree with licking of lips. Saliva contains salt so you know what that means to lips and (horrors!) your cuticles (if you chew your nails!).
A good beeswax lip balm or just plain vaseline will keep lips moist. |

Hello,
I have problems with my chapped lips as well, the best chapstick I have found is from Kiehls Lip Balm #1... it works better than vaseline for me and exfoliates my lips so in the morning, they are smooth and glossy. Hope that helps! |
