NEW Photos: My progress with sulphur-oil topical for hair. Mane Tail Groom or MTG and also using supplements. I've had 1/4 inch in 1 week!
http://www.fotothing.com/Wenrow/
PS. The first photos are my progress on Jan Marini Eyelash so just go to "earlier photos" to view the ones for hair. I have added captions to all.
If you have any questions about the photos, how they were taken, just ask. It was difficult taking most of them myself and I wanted to duplicate the "before" photos my hubby took. Angles, lighting and all that. I hope it is clear enough for ya. |

Wow! You seem to get good results with everything you try! I am so jealous!! I haven't tried city lips.. but only had minimal plumping with HA supplement.... your eyelashs look so great now! You should tint them! (I just ordered some, haven't tried it yet though)... and the hair is what I'm most interested in as I want to chop off some of mine and grow it fresher... Do you think people get good results just using the MTG? I want to try that, but don't really want to buy all the other products.. |

I am more concerned about using this treatment b/c of other ingredients. I know I should have looked into it earlier. But I've decided to make my own organic Treatment for hair growth. Sulphur is the active ingredient that helps hair grow. I ordered some in powder form. I've also purchased more natural ingredients for hair growth with oils and herbs. Herbs are for frangrance. The MTG has a terrible smell and that is another concern.
I have obviously had a lot of growth with the sulphur and would like to continue. But I would like to see what kind of results I get with this from others with this. I know it can vary. So if anyone is iterested in trying out this growth serum and joining me, let me know. |

Added NEW photos today. Now I have photos taken on 4/22 and of today 5/8. TWO weeks difference is much more noticable. I think I have about 1/2 inch of new growth now. I need to find an instrument to measure hair...

I posted new photos from using my own natural sulphur based oil for the last two weeks. I think it even speeded up the growth with the extra herbs and oils I added to mine.
This stuff works. I am lucky if I get 1/2 inch of growth in 30 days. I'd say naturally I get 1/4-1/2 inch of growth.

Good question donnababe, I was wondering the same thing...
Not sure if I should even ask this, since no mention has been made that I see, but are you going to be willing to share your recipe with those of us that would like to try it? |

My hair DOES seem to be growing in thicker. I've added ingredients that help with that but I also use Copper peptide shampoo conditioner and occasionally the CP hair therapy spray. They call it a spray but I put it in a dropper bottle and apply it that way. |

So here is the list of ingredients in my hair oil-really a scalp treatment b/c the scalp and skin that surrounds the follicle make it grow faster.
EMU OIL!!!! this it the thing that will make the difference. It penetrates 7 layers of skin to drive everything in and it is a natural anti-inflamatory to soothe skin as some (like me) have bad reactions to the sulphur or whatever was in MTG. After one week with MTG my neck was so broken out and red. After tow weeks with my own oil, NOTHING, NADA. Feels great. Plus it helps the sulphur disolve better! I don't have to shake it up as much so it seems to be more concentrated. It is thicker so it sticks to the scalp are and absorbs into the scalp and does not drip down like the others. Grapeseed oil is another I tried but just too fluid. Also tried almond Oil but the same problem, just dripped down. But for those who do not want to use Emu Oil for whatever reason, grapeseed is another good carrier. but you won't find anything better than Emu. I had INCREASED growth once I started mixing it all with that.

From a website on Emu Oil:
"Hair restoration products which contain Emu Oil have been recently patented.
Studies in which Emu oil was applied to mice demonstrated that the topical application of emu oil increased the synthesis of DNA in the epidermis which is a measure of increase in the proliferative activity of the epidermis. The increase in pigmentation and hair of animals receiving emu oil demonstrates that the topical application of emu oil can stimulate melanogenesis and hair follicle development and growth. The histological analysis demonstrating an increase in the thickness of the epidermis and size and length of the hair follicle provides strong evidence that the topical application of emu oil stimulates skin growth, hair growth and induces the proliferation of the cells around the hair follicle."

Saw Palmetto and Nettles These DHT inhibitors naturally and gently reduce the effects DHT plays in hair loss and thinning hair. This break-through botanical discovery is the best chance compromised hair follicles have to begin growing healthy hair again.

Ingredients that Gently Cleans and Nourishes the Scalp:
Sage: Sage is a purifying, antimicrobial, antiseptic & astringent botanical that is a tremendous conditioner for the hair. It not only has an active agent to eliminate hair loss but it strengthens and thickens the current hair shaft as well.
Rosemary: This herb is a purifying and antiseptic agent that cleanses the hair follicles of any build up and stimulates the hair root to grow hair. It also adds sheen to the hair.
Nettles-MORE on Nettles: Nettles does more than just reduce DHT. It is rich in vitamins A and C, and a wide range of minerals including Iodine, Silicon, and Sulfur, all especially good for the hair. It is a profound source for mucilage and amino acids that the hair follicle requires for proper growth. It's stimulating qualities also help increase the circulation to the scalp. Dr. A Vogel, a Swiss herbalist know throughout the world, advocates Nettle for stimulating hair growth.
Ingredients that Stimulate the Hair Follicles:
Burdock Root Oil-Stimulates Hair growth.
Peppermint- definitely stimulates circulation
Capsicum: Brings good blood flow to the scalp and causes histamine release which stimulates cell division, encourageing new hair growth. It also is a strong circulatory stimulant for the hair follicles.
Ginger: Ginger is a circulatory stimulant for the hair follicles and a stimulant for hair growth. It is also high in fatty acids. Fatty acids are recommended for hair loss, stunted growth and thinning of hair.
********************************************************
THINKING about adding these as well. it is already pretty expensive to do with what I have.
Lemongrass: This herb helps to remove scalp build up and normalizes oil product in the scalp. It also increases fullness and body to the hair.**THOUGHT IT WOULD BE GOOD WITH SO MANY APPLICATIONS OF THIS HAIR OIL TO KEEP THE SCALP CLEAN-BUT MAYBE I'D USE THIS AS A SEP TREATMENT
Horsetail: This herb is excellent for the hair. It's valued for its high levels of amino acids, phytosterols, and silica and strengthens, conditions, and makes the hair more resilient, and normalizes oil production of skin and hair so hair follicles won't get clogged by oil and sebum. It also is a natural source of vegetal silica will help with split ends. Helps to add sheen and elasticity.
I use more of the Rosemary and Mint and that is the scent of the oil-"rosemary- mint" and it is wonderful.
Lavender-couldn't find anything that had to do with hair growth, just good for dandruff so left that one out. anyone have info to the contrary?
But EMU Oil ladies, EMU Oil. Use it and it will make a BIG difference! Use this as your ONLY carrier. Get it cheap on ebay all the time. Youc an even get half gallon of it if you want.
So if you're iterested in growing hair faster, this can really work. And it is not as harsh and horrible smelling as that awful horse mane product. |

I still have members emailing me about my long hair quest. I have since given up on growing hair out faster. I was just set back too much with the brain tumor. Mengenoma (sp?) which is a BENIGN non incidental type tumor. so not even all those chemicals I used to drench my hair with caused it. At least that is what I was told....
But that and having several colorists ruin what hair I had left I moved on to extensions and I love them! I have longer AND THICKER hair. Much thicker. Could not get that with my hair oil.
so whoever reads this and needs to know what I am still doing you can read my experience here:
