My Birthday is this weekend and i will be celebrating it with some old friends that i havent seen in a couple years. I want to look good and impress them. What can i do to my skin that will give me a nice healthy glow? And also i dont want to have a huge zit on that special day, so anything i can do to prevent breaking out? I've been stressed out lately trying to organize my party and make everything perfect and have been having tiny breakouts. I was thinking about a facial but am scared to get a facial in case i break out from that facial... any recommendations?! |

Get a papaya enzyme mask to use on that day. It will make you glow and your skin look beautiful and clear. I like the Alba Botanicals one. (Whole Foods)
If you have any areas where you are prone to breakouts, apply a thin layer of benzoyl peroxide for the few days leading up to the big day to keep the bacteria count down and lessen the chance of a breakout. I would not recommend a facial. You have no idea if you will purge, have a bad reaction to some new ingredients, etc. |

Aspirin mask! I always use this before going out at night or to a special event.
And then I make sure to put a glosser in my hair--like the Paves shine serum carekate got me hooked on. |

I would take Tularyn's excellent advice one step further and do several aspirin masks leading up to your big day. Your skin will def. be glowing!! |

I'd go with PSFs pumkinmask! It makes med glow, the aspirin mask can be a bit harsh - even though I am very gentle...so I would not do a series of this one if you don't have very resilient skin - or as Carekate puts it "the hyde of a rhino"
HAVE A GREAT BIRTHDAY |

When I want my skin to look good for a date I use the Montagne Jeunesse masks. You can find them in the one time use packets at Walmart and such. The orange one is really nice and so is the ultra fast pore cleansing one with spearmint and green tea. They get great reviews on MUA too. |

Happy Birthday! My birthday is this Thursday!
I just had a facial and my skin was GLOWING!! She used a "fruit enzyme peel" and it was great. To bad I went home and watched tv...I should have made some plans. Usually I get all red after a facial but not this time!
If you want to do something at home...I used L'Occitane Olive Radiance Mask and it really left my skin with a glow. |
